Eva makes plans

"Hold on. You're saying someone managed to break into the lab last night.", said Lexi with a concerned expression.

"I went over the logs, and I can't find any irregularities. If what you said is true, then it means they bypassed all our security systems without any trace.", followed Dave.

"What I said *IS* true.", replied Eva with a hint of frustration in her voice. She had just finished recounting her version of last night's events. Conveniently, she had left out the part where the mysterious stranger had stripped and fucked her brains out, but she reasoned that they had no reason to know that.

"What could this person want?", wondered Lexi. Eva noticed that she was side-eyeing her, as if she suspected that there was something missing.

"Records don't seem to show anything missing from the lab. Unless, they wanted information...", trailed Dave, his mind beginning to wander.

Eva took out the note on her desk from in between her cleavage, where she had tucked it before leaving her room.

"This is the only clue I have.", she said. The others looked at it with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"It's clearly a trap.", they said in unison.

"I have to go. It's the only way I can get to the bottom of this.", replied Eva firmly.

Lexi and Dave looked at each other, realizing that they couldn't talk her out of this.

"Okay, then at least let me be your backup.", said Lexi.

"The place is a few hours away, and then I'll need at least a couple hours to do some recon and make sure it's safe.", continued Dave as he began to pack his laptop and other miscellaneous equipment.

"It's settled, then.", said Lexi firmly. "We meet at the car park in 10. I'll drive."

Eva bit her lip. Whether she liked it or not, it looked like this was a team operation now.
