Escape when the plane lands

Valerie spent the next few hours hidden behind boxes in the cargo hold. Luckily for her, only the occasional guard came into the room, and nobody came close to the dark corner she was in.

She jumped up when she felt the plane begin to descend. They were about to land. She ran to a window and looked outside, hoping to figure out the aircraft's destination.

She saw trees as far as the eye could see, along with a river in the distance. It appeared as though they were going to land in the middle of a forest. She spotted a makeshift airstrip far in the distance, along with a broadcasting tower that brought back some memories.

A dawn of realization came to her. This was likely an outpost for a smuggling operation. The masked man was clearly connected to it - but how? She put aside the questions in her mind for now. Her first priority was to escape before her captors discovered her.

She grabbed on to the walls and braced herself, waiting until she felt the aircraft land on the ground. It was a rough landing, given they weren't exactly landing at an airport. However, this was exactly what she wanted - it meant that it was likely all the other crew on the plane was strapped to their seats.

As soon as the plane stopped, she quickly hit the button to open the cargo hatch. She grabbed a tall box, one that would hide her face and upper body if she carried it in front of her.

As the hatch opened, she briskly stepped off the plane with the box in tow. "Important package", she coughed, disguising her voice and heading towards what looked like a makeshift storage area. A couple of men in the distance looked in her direction, but nobody seemed suspicious.

She increased her pace, walking with the box towards the storage area. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a guard emerge from the plane. He began animatedly talking to the man on the runway.

She rounded the corner behind the building, moving out of sight right as a voice shouted "Hey, you over there!" behind her.
