Chapter 4 by Felix_Griff Felix_Griff

Who's the rule bitch?

Eren Yeager - Yeagerist Harem Path

Premier Yeager makes his way across the halls of Mitras Keep, his steps echoing with the same **** that had silenced the world outside the walls just days prior. Yet, today the Premier has expressly asked for some alone time without work, for the sole purpose of collecting his thoughts. Eren desires to think over how the last few days have gone, now that it’s all over.

It wasn’t surprising that everything had changed the moment they’d entered that damned basement. That basement had always been their goal, their white light at the end of the tunnel, for better or for worse. It was inevitable that everything would be different after they busted that door open and found his father’s journals.

The greatest discovery that day had seemingly been the knowledge of what awaited them beyond the waters outside Paradis, but in the end that assumption had been false. The greatest discovery that day was not the knowledge possessed in any of Grisha Yeager’s journals, but instead the power within the final notebook Eren had found.

Desiring to find some kind of deeper connection with his deceased father, Eren had taken it upon himself to collect anything and everything he could find in that old basement. He and the rest of the Survey Corps had of course found the journals containing knowledge of Marley and the outside world, but Eren had privately found a final book as well, one with far less blatant information.

The book, having only a few indecipherable phrases written within its opening pages, was a mystery to Eren for months after his discovery of it. Yet, just as he had done with his titan powers, Eren put time and hard work into deciphering the phrases, before eventually figuring out their meaning, at least partially.

The book, at least based on the translated phrases, was some kind of “Eldian Rulebook,” that had clearly been discovered, not made, by his father. It seems his father failed to ever fully understand the properties of the rulebook, but still managed to understand that the rulebook held some kind of importance and great power within it.

During his initial experiments with the rulebook, Eren had, of course, also been struggling with the weight of his newfound memories from the Attack and Founding Titans. The sight of the world being smashed beneath his feet, before his **** is inevitably delivered by his own closest friends, was too much for Eren to bear, and so he sought desperately for another way out.

Years later, Eren had given up, accepted his fate and gotten the ball rolling on things he needed to prepare for… before suddenly finding a miracle. The rulebook, which Eren had, after three years of occasional studying, given up on completely, suddenly began to make more and more sense to him. It was almost as though his increased understanding of his Attack and Founding Titan abilities had allowed him to tap into the full potential of the Eldian Rulebook.

Eren had started slow, not wishing to mess things up and make his destiny somehow even worse than it already was, but with time it had become clear to him how powerful the rulebook truly was. Eren’s visions of his own future had begun to change as a result of his continued use of the rulebook, and soon it became clear to Eren that his fate was once more in his own hands.

He had been on the battlefields of Marley’s wars when the realization of his newfound freedom had become obvious to him. With the rulebook in his grasp, and its powers now fully unlocked to him, Eren began to rewrite the ending to his story, piece by piece.

The first steps had been obvious, with Eren writing rules like:

New Rule - Zeke Yeager must do everything his little brother asks of him.

New Rule - The militaries of Paradis and Marley are not allowed to halt Eren Yeager’s plans in any way, shape, or form.

Surprisingly, that second rule had not fully worked out for Eren. Expecting to essentially bomb Liberio and escape with Zeke without resistance, the Marleyan military had put up the best resistance they could muster. Thus, the phrasing of “Eldian Rulebook” made all the more sense to Eren, the book now clearly being shown to only work on Eldian individuals and institutions.

Eren had never intended to spare the outside world, the desire for vengeance and destruction burning within his heart was to strong to ever resist, and yet the realization of the rulebook’s limitations did still clear his conscious to some degree, proving to him that even with its power he was still incapable of making the outside world not hate Eldians.

During the flight home, following the events in Liberio, Eren had continued with his use of the rulebook. Levi, being a member of the Eldian military, had of course not tied Eren up, or anything of that sort, as doing so would mean getting in the way of Eren’s plans, which was strictly against the new rules.

As Eren had begun writing rules that would assist with his impending takeover of Paradis, he couldn’t help but allow his mind to drift in other directions as well. He had been doing all this work with the rulebook for the express purpose of making sure that the visions of his doomed fate didn’t become a reality… but if that’s the case… what should his new fate look like?

Obviously his new fate would involve total victory over the outside world, a complete rumbling of humanity, permanent Yeagerist rulership on Paradis, and his own personal survival… but… shouldn’t it be more?

Eren still saw occasional visions of his all so possible doomed future, and one such reoccurring vision was that of him crying at the thought of dying without ever knowing true love with another. It was an embarrassing thing to cry over, especially considering Eren’s circumstances in that doomed future, and yet the humiliating visions had helped Eren to understand that he did indeed have desires outside of just vengeance and freedom.

It also helped that, while sitting silently on the airship, Eren had a good view of his friend Mikasa’s new hairstyle, and damn did she look good with it. Eren had never been someone focused on romance or getting laid… but he was still a young man, and with the realization that his fate was now fully in his hands again, it was hard for Eren’s mind to not grow with a newfound sense of… desire.

It was about halfway into the journey home, that Eren had finally given up on resisting his own childish desires, and instead just given into it all. Eren had finally decided that he wasn’t merely going to make the world into what he wanted it to be, but that he was also going to make sure he was actually happy in this new stupid life of his.

First was to make sure he actually had a full life to live:

Old Rule - Ymir Frtiz desires for the world to feel her vengeance. Once Eren Yeager destroys the outside world, all the titan powers will be removed from the Eldian race and put solely into Eren Yeager. He will retain all the powers, but have none of the negative drawbacks like a lowered lifespan.

Next was to correct one of his biggest regrets, his choice to keep his feelings secret from the girl he respects most:

Old Rule - Historia Reiss has been in love with Eren Yeager for a while now. The two of them confessed their feelings the same day that Eren told Historia about his plans for the rumbling, and they then proceeded to have sex in a nearby barn. Historia is, therefore, currently pregnant with Eren Yeager’s child.

After that point, each new idea became more and more focused on just feeding his somewhat childish and lustful ego:

New Rule - After the sight and success of Liberio, any Eldian woman with doubts has now fully come to support Eren Yeager’s beliefs. All Eldian women are diehard Yeagerists, especially those Eldian women who know Eren Yeager personally.

And just because Eren was still a little mad at his friends Armin, Jean, etc for fighting against and killing him in his original doomed fate:

New Rule - After the sight and success of Liberio, all Eldian men support Eren Yeager’s plans, with the exception of men who know Eren Yeager personally. Eldian men who know Eren Yeager personally, will not stop his plans, but will not support them either, and will be highly jealous of the support and adoration Eren gets from Eldian women.

And with that, Eren had closed the rulebook, desiring to wait and see the results upon his arrival back home, before moving further along. Yet, some things are still inevitable, and Eren knew that at the end of this new road he was carving… would lie a bloodied continent.
