You couldn't stand for more than a second before losing balance and landing back on all fours. You yelp a bit when you saw blue paws in stead of your hands, but then you looked and saw that your body was feline and you saw your tailmaw that you looked like when you entered the game and dranked that potion. "Oh... so it wasn't a dream nor I escaped. I'm still in the game and in this form."

"Ugh!... My ass!..." you cried out as you winced from pain coming from your rear as you recalled your encounter with the twin-headed hound. "I feel like I took in an elephant..." When you entered, you see that in the center of the shed was a figure in dark brown robes. From the large round ears on top of their head and the long slender tail behind it, it's clear the figure's not human.

"Ah, I see that you have returned from your quest~..." the voice spoke in an intrigued tone, sounding female. "Though not completely unscathed..."

Your ears twitched at the tone as you lightly growled, feeling irked. 'This guy seriously trusted this person...?!' You scanned the character and while you saw her title and health, the level is a mystery. 'It's literally called a 'shady dealer'!'

"Yeah, I did. So if you don't mind, I would like my reward for this quest please?" You asked, wanting to get it and get out of here.

"Did you not read the message on the vial?" The dealer asked, "You must pass the trial before getting the power you seek."

"What else could there be to do?" You asked, visibly bummed at the fact that it seems there's more to it than that.

"I can make various portals to different parts of the world." The dealer then showed them a map of the world to their end. Only the witch's crypt is visible as the others are covered in a magical fog.

"Are you implying that in order to get my original form and power back, I have to travel through each realm until I find the right place?" You guessed.

"Almost. The power you collect in this state will be added to your level before you drink that potion." The dealer clarified.

"So, it's not completely a reset. And also, I'll gain more power once I regain my original form." You added, 'If it's saying everything at least.'

"Hopefully." she stated cryptically.

"I'll be checking back tomorrow. I'm taking it easy today. Thanks." You stated, heading towards the exit.

"Do be careful now, all sorts of strange things can happen." she called out with a chuckle.

You groaned from that teasing response as you stepped out of the shed and was walking around aimlessly. "Well that went surprisingly well all things considering. I expected we would've been some trap and we had to escape some creepy monster." You stretched yourself and lightly rubbed your face with a sigh, "Let's find an inn. I could use a bed and a hot meal." You reach for your bag and opened it, and is taken back at the sight of your now empty bag.

You started to explore the town. You see various homes, buildings and small stands, though the ones that stand out were the bank for storing any money that you have, which is currently nothing, shops where you can buy weapons, armor and supplies, and storage area where one can store items they don't want to lose in case they fall.

"Well that's good to know, I wished they did that before going on this quest. Or was he on a rough road and he hoped he could get good here?" I asked, pondering what was the reason the character took this job. Speaking of jobs, your map started vibrating and you see that it was stating there was a job opening. Seeing that you needed money, you follow the map to the location.

"Mmmhhh... I hope I can gain the ability to walk on my two legs soon. Walking on all fours all the time is a lot harder than it looks.." you stated to yourself, lightly stumbling around a bit trying to not trip over yourself. You think about the game world and what you may encounter, 'I hope that whenever I encounter, I hope to encounter some female creatures. I don't want an complete yaoi route.'

You arrived at where the map marked where the job would be and find that it led you to the inn of this town. So does that mean you are ready to start your quest to get your form back?"

"The sooner the better." You stated, sitting on the stool in front of her table. "Give me what you have right now." she stated as she showed you three papers with each of them showing a different picture which describe the setting. One had a picture of a fox statue, the second had a sand dune, and the third had some kind of machinery you don't know about.

"Make sure you choose wisely now, you never know what to expect~." she stated with a mischievous chuckle as you look at the pictures thinking about which to choose.
