Epilogue (Nsaku)

The Lancaster clan had become so dispersed that it was impossible to try to do a physical reunion, so they did it over Zoom. Douglas, now happily single and jerking off multiple times a day to the African and his ex-wife's insatiable sex life, dialed in from the old Lancaster compound. Katie dialed in from Paris, were she was presently staying for the high heat of Texas's oppressive summer. She'd indeed become the Sheikh's favored girl, and her belly was swollen with the first of many Arabic children. Aaron dialed in, still a little lame from his ankle not healing properly, collared and cowed by his Black secretary, Betty, who did most of the talking from their perspective on the call. Emily called in. She was still seeing Karl, but it seemed it was something she'd never acknowledge. As far as anyone could tell, she was happily married to Ian, and the interracial journeys of her siblings and mother did not interest her in the slightest.

And then there was Elizabeth. Her time in African seemed to have renewed her. She was happy and joyous. Ellen and Elsa seemed to have adapted to their new home country, dressed in brightly colored, loud outfits. J.D. King, her favored son, seemed to have developed a confident, arrogant attitude as a member of the majority in the Congo. And Nsaku was huge and dark, sitting beside his wife, clutching her possessively to him, her belly swollen with her first son of Africa.

It'd be a tumultuous path to get here. Such tragedy -- Jamaal's shooting, the earthquake, the years of being trapped in a second stale marriage with Douglas. She'd ended up happy, but the cost was greater in this path of life.
