Epilogue (Jabo)

Her path was anything but conventional. From Jamaal, to D-Train, to a criminal gang. It was untraditional, and that was okay. She was happy with Jabo. She was happy with her mob dates. But she'd underestimated how deeply her family was entangled with the mob. Katie, pregnant with Silvio's baby, chatting amiably with Luca. Emily, pregnant with Rocco' s first son, glowing as she strode about. And Gianna, with Hashim, and Aaron in a collar. It'd be her biracial grandson technically, but there was no blood relation.

All were happy, all were thriving, but the trading places that Douglas had originally contemplated had gone unfulfilled.
