It was a disjoined family. Katie was still hooking in Atlanta. Emily was a cheating wife, fighting her demons and submitting to Tave. Mo was raising children that weren't his with a former stripper. Shalonda and Sarah were happy, but they'd never forgive Elizabeth. And Elizabeth was serving her own reparations, one Black man at a time. Only Samson, now in New Mexico with Barbie, had a truly happy ending in this path.
