Epilogue: You never leave this life behind

You made a sizeable amount of credits on this journey, but it proves too little to change your fate for good. Your ship needs repairs, and every bit of existence costs money in this nightmarish world. People have turned everything, from housing, clean water, air, and food, into a commodity. You work some more odd jobs until you get a little too old to run independent. You end up taking a job on a smuggling barge, working for a kind but largely incompetent captain. You help guide him, however, and the crew scrapes by and makes ends meet.

You meet an untimely death at the age of 54 in an accident involving a trade deal that went south. Fucker was too quick on the draw and downed you before you'd reached your firearm.
