Chapter 21 by Zeebop Zeebop

The End

Epilogue: I Fucked Lois Lane

They met in the sky, a thousand feet above the Daily Planet. More than a bird to any passing plane, and too high for any pigeon to touch. Blaze wore her human clothes, but didn't bother with her human guise. Let the Man of Steel see her as she was, red of horn and white of eye, hugging her arms as they floated far above the milling crowds.

"Why are you telling me this?" His piercing blue eyes remained calm, though she could feel the tension in his body. That was one of his greatest superpowers...control. Any other man might have been provoked to **** by the statement.

"Because I want to go on fucking her," Blaze sighed. "I admit it, at first it was just a plan to...get back at you. Use her against you somehow. Then we...and I..."

The demon bit her lip. She shivered, though not from the wind that whipped his red cape about.

"...I think I love her."

Blaze flinched. She really thought he might hit her then...but he didn't.

"Why tell me?" He said, his voice tight.

"I...didn't want there to be misunderstandings. If this...relationship...continues. I don't want her caught in the middle. I don't want her hurt. I thought we could...work things out. Maybe agree to a truce."

His eyes narrowed. "A truce."

"You know...you leave us alone and I'll..." Blaze swallowed and **** herself to look at him. She wondered where her confidence had gone. It wasn't too long ago she would have spit in his face, welcomed battle on any ground he would choose, and fought with every trick and bit of power at her command. Now...she thought of Lois. "...what do you want me to do? For peace."

He floated closer. Blaze didn't flinch or back away this time. She stiffened her spine, wondering if this was the moment, when the sky would crack over Metropolis and all her hopes and dreams fell into ruin. Because Lois would never forgive her if she killed Superman.

Superman stopped a foot away.

"You're evil," he said. "And I can't trust you."

"What do I have to do," the demon said. "To earn your trust?"

"Don't resist."

The white eyes went wide...and thunder cracked. Blaze didn't have to turn her head. She felt the hands on her shoulders. Her supernatural senses screamed at the sudden burst of power. Captain Marvel, the hero Shazam, gripped her right shoulder. Black Adam, the villainous Marvel, gripped her left.

"We're going to take you to the Rock of Eternity," Captain Marvel said. "The Wizard will judge you. If you fight...or flee..."

"...we will break you." Black Adam said, decisively.

There was a burst of lightning...and the sky was empty.

She walked, not in chains, but with three of the mightiest mortals on the planet behind and beside her. Down the stone corridor, past the statues that held the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man, with their eternal flames burning. To the throne where her father sat stooped. The old man's beard reached to his knees, his pale flesh almost translucent. On his right hand, Mary Marvel, the Lady Shazam; on his left hand, Isis, Black Adam's bride.

"Blaze," his voice echoed in that space, and she could feel the words resound in her skull. "I have seen, and heard, your exchange with the Man of Steel. If you truly wish to be left unmolested...you must give up your evil ways, and show your good faith through seven labors."

The demon set her teeth. Her whole body tensed...and yet she was outnumbered, overpowered. One misstep here and she would be banished to the Rock of Finality...or worse.

For the love of a mortal woman, the demon bowed her head to her father.

"What would you have me do?"

Lois Lane smiled when she saw the dark-haired woman in the black jeans and torn black t-shirt waiting for her in the lobby of the Daily Planet building. Blaze stood as she approached, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"So...how about dinner?" The dickgirl said. "I, uh...need to tell you some things. About me."

The reporter smiled. "Secrets?"

"A few," Angelica stretched out her hand. Lois took it.

"Is this a plan to get back in my pants?" Lois said.

"I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a part of it," Blaze said.

"Good," the reporter said. "Because I want tacos and at least twenty minutes of oral sex."

"Twenty minutes?" Blaze smiled. "Sweetmeat, I might give you twenty orgasms!"

They laughed...but Angelica Blaze wondered if the reporter would still be laughing after she fulfilled her first father's first command, to tell Lois the entire truth.

Fin?
