Background:

Eos was born approximately twenty-five hundred years ago from the union of Belphegor and Metis. She was adored by her mother, and even received the love and support of her father. She was entered into the Royal Nursery as soon as she was able to be without her mother. Then though she continued to spend any available time with her parents.

One of her favorite places to visit was the massive study in her father’s cathedral, spending hours sitting at its oak desks reading the tomes found there.

While in the nursery she was assigned a young imp, who had just recently finished her internship, as her main tutor. This imp, a woman named Fidelisa, took the child under her wing, and the two became very close.

During her seventeenth year, right before she was to turn eighteen and participate in a ceremony of adulthood, where she would be recognized and accepted fully into demon society as a full member of it. There was an attack by the Demon Lord Resheph, who was attempting to kill and devour the souls of as many of Belphegor’s heirs as possible.

Eos and Fidelisa were just returning from the library when they encountered Resheph as he was ripping a soul from a toddler with another tutor laying dead at his feet. Fidelisa was frozen as their eyes locked, her undisciplined mind fracturing as she fell to her knees. Eos though sprung into action as she saw her five-year-old nephew, trapped and about to become the demon’s next meal.

Grabbing Resheph by one arm, she screamed for the boy to run. This however brought the full attention of Resheph upon her, and he quickly dispatched her, ripping her soul from her petite body. Consuming it so all traces of who she had been were destroyed in an instant.

He then laughed at Fidelisa telling her, she was not even worth it, leaving her to cradle the lifeless body of Eos. As he continued to feed on the long till the royal guards and the king could arrive to drive him off.

Personality:

Eos was a cheerful and curious young woman, who loved to read and is happiest when she was surrounded by books. She cared deeply for others, especially those she was close to. She also hates to see anyone hurting, and will try to help if she can.
