Do you intervene
Enough is Enough
Angered, you stand up, slamming your drink down. The laughter immediately stops, boosting your ego a bit.
"Enough is enough, men," you bark, practically scolding them, "Keep it up and you might get to see California for yourselves!" Those last words bite, the entire table so quiet you could hear a pin drop. You let the silence hang over the table for a few moments, letting the men know you mean it. You are their commander, and you demand the respect of not only yourself but your men as well.
However, you couldn't completely kill morale. In an effort to lighten the mood, you add "Besides, I don't see how Hank could have lost his train of thought. That train derailed years ago!" There's a brief pause, before the table once again erupts in laughter. At first, you were worried you'd gone too far, but Hank's laughing with the rest of them, though you don't think he appreciated being yelled at.
You glance over at Julia, and your eyes meet hers. You can tell she is very grateful as she smiles and walks away.
"Okay men," you begin, shifting the attention back to yourself, "We have a lot of work to do today."
During breakfast, you'd been deciding between the tire tracks and the small town, as you could only pursue one.
Which have you chosen?

The Second American Civil War
All is fair in love and war
What if Clinton won? This is a alternate history story set in a timeline that would never of happened (probably). This is not meant as an attack on either candidate and is not supposed to be politically charged in anyway. Don't take it too seriously.
