Enjoying themselves

One glass of wine quickly became two for the pair, with the third already mid-pour by Delia. While Ava wasn't tipsy per say, everything was just a bit more pretty in her gaze.

"I could get used to this." Ava whispered, gaze coming upon a pair of cat-eye glasses. The sort usually reserved for old ladies - much like her at this point. "I guess I could try them on."

Slipping the glasses on, everything became a blur. When combined by the third glass of wine, it evened out.

"What do you think?" she inquired, getting a thumbs-up from Delia. "I'm keeping them on, then."

Delia chuckled. She hadn't expected to have this much fun with Ava. Sure, her current room would need a whole lot of retooling for the senior lush, but it would do for the moment. Though, she was also certain there was a set of hearing aids that might just fit Ava's ears. she would have to run it by her when she was sober. Or just leave them out when they inevitably get drunk and Ava has an idea.
