By the end of the semester, Alex's "progressive educational model" has transformed Westwood entirely. Walking through the hallways between classes, Alex observes his brave new world with satisfaction. There's a knock at his door.

"Enter," he calls.

The door opens to reveal his daughter Mia, dressed in the modified school uniform—the same revealing outfit all female students now wear. She closes the door behind her.

"Dad—I mean, Mr. Mercer," she corrects herself, following school protocol. "I got my calculus test back."

She hands him a paper with a C- circled in red at the top.

"This is disappointing," Alex says, maintaining his professional demeanor despite the surreal situation.

"I know," Mia nods, her expression determined. "That's why I'm here. I'd like to request a preliminary recognition protocol to improve my performance on the next test."

Alex stares at his daughter, momentarily jarred from his power-induced confidence. This is a line he hasn't yet crossed—using his Trend Setter abilities to influence his own family beyond the initial morning exercises.

But the power pulses within him, urging him forward. Why should his daughters be exempt from the educational revolution he's created? In fact, wouldn't exempting them be a form of disadvantageous favoritism?

"The research supports proactive application in cases of underperformance," Alex says, slipping back into his pseudoscientific persona.

Mia nods seriously. "That's what I thought. Jessica—I mean, Ms. Winters—suggested I consult with you directly since you're the protocol expert."

Alex leans back in his chair, a slow smile spreading across his face. His power has come full circle—from being disrespected at home to having his own daughter seek his "educational expertise."

"Lock the door," he instructs. "Preliminary protocols require privacy for optimal effectiveness."

As Mia turns to secure the lock, Alex contemplates the expanding horizons of his influence. Today Westwood Academy, tomorrow—who knows? With the Trend Setter power, even the most outrageous ideas become accepted reality.
