The fertility amulet burned suddenly as the words reached Lois Lane's ears. Power flooded through her body...and then her enormous belly surged forward as all twelve fetuses inside raced through their growth cycles. Supermom groaned as her gravid gut expanded, the growing babies within pushing against her super-tough and elastic womb. Strength flowed through her body from the amulet as it accommodated the sudden growth surge...and Lois floated downward, staggering onto the ground as her abdomen extended in front of her, livid red stretch marks appearing and then healing within seconds...
The reporter stiffened as a cramp hit her pelvis. Her knees buckled, and off-balanced as she was, more belly than woman, Lois felt herself begin to fall...
"Easy now," a familiar voice said from behind her. "I've got you."
Strong hands caught Lois Lane from behind. The ultrafertile heroine turned her head and saw calm blue eyes, wavy black hair, a glinting gold tiara with a crimson star.
"Wonder Woman!" Lois gasped. "What...what's happening...agh!"
A crimson blur zoomed around them. Grimacing in pain as the overstretched muscles throughout her body contracted, Lois saw that a tent was being erected around them...a white tent with a red cross...medical equipment...
"It's a portable birthing center," the Amazon said as she eased Lois onto a mattress that hadn't been there a moment before. "The Flash is constructing it. I'll help you with the birth."
"Birth!" Lois grimaced...and then the contraction ceased, and a wave of relief flooded through her.
"All pregnancies come to an end," Zatanna said. Lois saw the familiar top-hat and tails of the busty magician from the far corner of the tent. "How are you feeling, Lois?"
"Like I'm about to give birth to a cow!" Lois said. Her belly heaved and wobbled above her. "What's going on!"
"The amulet you picked up is an ancient, powerful fertility totem," another voice said...feminine, but echoing strangely. From around the reporter's distended abdomen came a figure in a golden helmet and cape, the blue tunic underneath cinched over her breasts, a gleaming amulet nestled between them. A name came to Lois: Doctor Fate. Although she though the good Doctor was male...apparently that wasn't always the case. "Zatanna's spell has accelerated your pregnancy and initiated your labor; all of the amulet's power is now dedicated to helping you safely give birth. It's influence on your mind and personality is now...lessened."
"Are the babies okay!?" Lois said, suddenly panicking. Wonder Woman helped ease the reporter onto her side, taking the weight of her enormous womb off of her back.
"They're fine...it's all part of the magic," Wonder Woman said. "Now, you just need to concentrate on giving birth. We're here to help you..."
There is no simple of easy way to give birth to dodecatuplets. Before modern medicine, it would have been nearly impossible. Yet with Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Doctor Fate all there, and the power of the amulet burning between her enormous breasts, Lois Lane endured the long hours, the harsh contractions that felt her entire body compressed into a knot of pain...the stretching down below as the first of them entered her birth canal...and just when Lois thought she might not be able to handle it, a strong hand slid into her own.
Sweat plastered the pregnant woman's forehead as she looked up at the figure dressed, not in his blue suit and red cape, but in a white dress shirt rolled up to the elbows, and black slacks. He had left off the glasses, but he looked...for all the world as though Clark Kent had rushed here straight from work.
"Push, Lois," he said. "You're doing great."
Between her legs, Wonder Woman announced she could see the head...
He was her rock through the next hours. One after another, they made their way down and out...and each came out with dark hair and violet eyes, just like their mother...and somewhere along the way...Lois cried out as the involuntary stimulation of her pussy from the inside, the terrible stretching excited her beyond words. She clutched onto Clark's arm as the first birth orgasm rolled over her...and the next...
...by the time the afterbirth slid out of her distended, slack cunny, Lois Lane lay like a deflated balloon. The excess skin of her abdomen lay stretched out before her, naked body caked with sweat, blood and gore stained her thighs, and golden drops of milk leaked from enormous breasts. She barely felt the magic of Doctor Fate pluck the golden amulet from her breasts...but before she lost consciousness, she heard two things.
Twelve babies crying hungrily...and Zatanna whispering ".htrib morf leaH."
Dawn found Lois Lane in the private wing of the Wayne Foundation hospital in Gotham. She was naked to the waist, milk pumps were attached to both teats, IVs in her arms fed her fluids...but there was no excess skin on her stomach, no stretch marks. Tight and firm as if she had never given birth. Somehow, that made her feel a terrible sense of...loss. Emptiness.
Clark was there, bottle-feeding one of them. He had his glasses back on. In disguise, she thought, but his smile as he saw she was awake was real and genuine.
"Hey, Supermom," he said and walked toward the edge of the bed. "Say hello to your firstborn. You'll have to think of a name for him...and all the others."
Lois smiled back as she took the baby into her arms. She didn't know what to say. She had gone for a night out and woke up as a mother...times twelve!
"You know, I was talking to Doctor Fate...he said that there would be some residual effects from the amulet. Increased fertility," Clark said seriously. "Apparently you can get pregnant very, very easily. High chance of multiples."
Lois made a face. "Who's going to want me with twelve kids?"
Clark stood there. "Well, you know, I always wanted a big family...and a farm out in Kansas might be a good place to raise a brood of young'uns...I've talked with Perry and he said he's fine with you working remotely, after you finish your maternity leave..."
The Daily Planet's greatest reporter raised an eyebrow. "Clark Kent, are you making a proposal?"
One big hand slid behind her neck. He leaned in close, until their lips almost touched. She breathed in the scent of him, like the fresh laundry left drying in the sun on a summer day.
"Yes," he said, a moment before his lips touched hers.
