“How about this? We study for say…half an hour, and then see how someone is doing? Study some more, another check. And whenever Mom gets back from checking out the gym we can stop there?” Emma suggested, giving you an option to take the middle ground.

“Sure! Should we get dressed or…” you replied.

“Let’s just stay like this” Emma said, finding your sentence with the same line of thinking you were hoping for.

You hadn’t had to pack much in your bags clothes-wise so you had been able to bring your school books without any issues, getting up off the bed to find them before returning to Emma. You did grab your phone while you were up but you held off checking the KDK and just used it to set a timer for when you could use your reward.

Even with your nudity, you and Emma managed to concentrate and start your makeshift study session while sitting on the bed, picking the subject you were both not as confident in and working on that first. The both of you had the same two intelligence upgrades but from what you had figured out they worked differently for each of you, catering to your own natural strengths and letting you help each other on sections that you otherwise would have needed longer to work through if you had been on your own.

You were actually getting into a good rhythm when you heard the shower shut off and the alarm went off promptly afterwards. You didn’t want to get caught in the middle of the effect so you both agreed to carry on until Grace was finished. You did become a bit more casual while you waited, making comments about what you hoped to see when you looked through your family’s eyes as you worked but soon the door to the bathroom opened.

“Well that’s a sight I didn’t expect to see” Grace commented, pausing at the door to look at you and the books spread out on the bed before walking over to where she had stored her clothes.

She was wrapped in a towel as she walked through the room and even after everything you had done, you still tried to catch a glimpse of what she was hiding underneath it as your eyes remained fixed on her.

“We did promise and we haven’t really got much more time to study” Emma replied, getting a nod from you in agreement.

“Well, yesterday I worried about you getting in trouble if I left you alone so you should get why it wasn’t the first thing I expected to see” Grace shot back, still looking through her case and holding up some gym wear, to try on.

“Well what did you think you’d see?” Emma teased, knowing where Grace’s mind had been wandering.

“I guess it doesn’t matter now. I’ll tell you later to avoid distracting you” Grace replied, having to give up holding the towel to put on her outfit.

Even if she didn’t mean to, just the way she got dressed was a big enough distraction for you and Emma, most of the outfit being skin tight didn’t help matters either. She put on a sports bra and some panties, quickly followed by some compression shorts and a loose t-shirt.

“I’ll leave you two to your studying…” Grace announced, turning back around to face you and noticing your gaze.

She grinned at the both of you when she realised you had been watching but that didn’t stop her from continuing what she was doing, checking herself in the mirror one final time before she went to head out the door.

“I’m going to check out the gym so come down to find me if you need anything or if I’m taking too long” Grace announced, grabbing a keycard for herself before she shut the door behind her.

You both waited a couple of seconds before Emma suddenly jumped up and headed for the door, hearing her flip the latch on it so that even Grace wouldn’t be able to get back in. Emma practically threw herself onto the bed when she returned and she stared at you expectantly.

You couldn’t help but be a bit excited yourself as you grabbed your phone again, but you had to decide whose eyes you were going to look through first. You thought the decision would be hard until you realised what time it was.

It was early enough on a Sunday that you suspected Mom would be awake but if you left it any later, you might catch her going to church or already sitting down for a service. The idea that Mom could somehow get you to go to church even though you were multiple towns away did give you a chuckle but you’d rather avoid that if you could help it.

After agreeing with Emma that she was the best choice at the moment, you went to Mom’s profile and clicked the icon to use the effect.

Like you had experienced yesterday, you felt a pull from within you and then you could clearly see through Mom’s eyes, taking a moment to adjust to the change in setting before you could accurately describe what you were seeing to Emma.

At first it was just Mom sat in the kitchen having nearly finished her breakfast, making you worry that the 10 minute time limit for the effect would be wasted until you saw a bowl of cereal on the counter to the side of her, Sarah entering her line of sight wearing her sleepwear with a drink in hand before sitting down next to her.

You honestly hadn’t expected Sarah to be up and out of her bedroom at this time in the morning but you had little time to relay that to Emma before the two started talking, the back and forth making you stop giving Emma information as you opted to just listen in.

“So… did you have a think about what I said last night?” Sarah asked, looking straight into Mom’s eyes and almost making you forget that she was talking to Mom and not you.

“...I need some more time to think about it sweetie,” Mom replied, not sounding confident in her response with whatever she had been supposed to decide on.

Sarah however seemed to get annoyed at her lack of an answer and you could see her trying to hold herself back from saying something she would regret, her hands now balled up against the table.

“I’d prefer an answer before you go to church. After everything we have all done with Max I think going there is only gonna…” Sarah started to say, getting cut off by Mom.

“I’m gonna stop you there” Mom said, raising her hand to Sarah before she continued.

“My decision is mine to make, nobody else's okay? And you’re more than welcome to join me today…No?...okay then” Mom explained, getting Sarah to quiet back down for the moment.

You knew they had had some form of girls night while you were gone but apparently, something had gone on involving you that now piqued your curiosity.
