Who does Dev introduce himself to?
Emma (34) the ditzy Solicitor
To the right of Dev was a desk with towering paperwork, loose deeds overflowing and a young, stressed out woman. Emma was chewing on her long black hair, razor-focused on what she was reading through her rectangle-framed glasses. She had a sharp jawline that exuded charm and elegance, accompanied by a black turtleneck and suit trousers. She was flat-chested, but the tiny bumps at the chest of her turtleneck gave Dev a sense that they were still quite perky.
Dev: "Hi, I'm Dev, the new trainee here. Looks like we're desk buddies haha," she turned to him and stopped chewing her hair.
"Hmm? Oh of course, hi, hello! How are you! Oh gosh, sorry I've been absolutely consumed by this case recently! How are you finding Cummings & Ryder so far? All good? Getting settled? Oh sorry, let me introduce myself first. I'm Emma, a Solicitor. I was actually a trainee here 5 years ago so I know how you feel with your first day here. I assure you, you'll get some really meaningful experiences working at this firm and with this team especially!" Emma glared at Dev with a kind, innocent look.
It wasn't exactly subtle to Dev that Emma seemed a little scatterbrained and all over the place at times, even in conversation. He didn't really know how to answer that bombarment of questions, especially sicne he was getting lost in her pale blue eyes piercing at him. Dev replied, "yeah, I'm sure I'll be really experienced training here. And so far, so good! I met with Rose just now and she spoke highly about all of you so I'm looking forward to working with you!"
Dev then thought about his conversation with Rose and considered testing his powers on Emma. She's a Solicitor, so would they even work? Should he try it with Emma?
