John decided to allow Emma to have a girlfriend as well. After all, since Angie had one, it was only fair for Emma to get one too.

While Emma was a goth, her girlfriend would be a stereotypical girly girl, in love with pink, all things cutesy, and very much into bubble pop as opposed to heavy metal. Despite this, John would have Emma lover her girlfriend unconditionally, and the two would never fight or break up.
