Emily knocks

Rachel was in the middle of her favorite crime show when she heard the knock. She paused it and called out. "Who is it?"

"It's Emily," she heard from the other side of the door. "I figured you need something sweet so I brought a slice of cake from last night for you. After everything going on, I thought you might need it."

Rachel was tempted to let her in. Cake sounded really good right now and she could really use a hug from her big sister. But she was told not to let anyone in. And Emily knew this.

"I don't know, Em," Rachel said nervously, wringing her hands. "Mom said that I have to stay in here away from you guys until we figure ou-"

"I know," Emily said quickly, sighing. "But... I want to see you. I hadn't seen you at all today. And I don't want you to be alone right now. Please. I want to help you, Rach."

That hit Rachel hard. She even teared up a little as she ran to the door and unlocked it. As soon as it was open, she flung herself at Emily, hugging her tightly. Emily wasn't prepared for the size difference. Before today, Rachel's head came up to Emily's shoulder. Now, Rachel was almost as tall as her.

Thankfully, Rachel had considered the size difference a second before she went for the hug. She put her head on Emily's shoulder, something the older sister was not used to, and made sure not to bump the plate of food as she wrapped her arms under Emily's armpits. She was crying softly, holding her sister tight.

"I'm scared, Em," Rachel said softly, getting Emily's shoulder wet with her tears. Emily just wrapped an arm around her sister, caressing her back gently.

"It's okay, Rach. You are the best person I know. You'll get through this, I know you will. Whatever's going on, you are strong enough to push through it."

Rachel sniffled a little, a soft smile on her face from those words. "You think so?"

Emily pulled back softly and put her free hand to Rachel's cheek, looking into her eyes. "I know so. You're always positive and cheerful, even when Victoria does her crap. If you can smile through that, you can smile through anything."

Rachel smiled a little more, proving Emily's point. "You're the best sister ever, Em. Thank you."

Emily nodded and kissed Rachel's cheek. "Of course. Now, let's get in the room and you can eat your cake. After, you can tell me as much as you're comfortable with. If not, then I'll just hug you until you're no longer sad."

It didn't take Rachel long to finish her slice of cake. Afterwards, she told Emily the same thing she told her mom. She woke up taller with bigger breasts and an... appendage between her legs. She mentioned the doctor appointment tomorrow, hoping that the expert in health might be able to help. She told her nothing about masturbating earlier or that their mom had helped her with the new appendage a while ago. Emily listened carefully, not saying anything until her sister was done talking. When she did say something, she was very careful about her words.

"Well, I'm glad we could get an appointment for tomorrow. I was worried the doctor wouldn't be available until next week."

Rachel nodded slowly, leaning her head on Emily's shoulder. "I was, too. But I'm still nervous. What if she doesn't know what's happening to me?"

Emily wrapped an arm around her sister's shoulder, hugging her close. "Dr. Avery has been a doctor for fifteen years. I'm sure she has some idea of what's happening and what can be done to help. Don't worry, sis. You'll be okay."

Rachel closed her eyes and enjoyed the hug, feeling Emily's side against her own. She honestly loved her big sister's hugs more than she loved her mother's. Emily always knew what needed to be said or done to make Rachel feel better.
