Ember Knows.

"So... do you both have powers?" Ember asks. "Or can only one of you possess others?" Cass and I immediately lock eyes, wordlessly asking each other how Ember could possibly know. "Uh, Ken? Cass? Oh, I'll uh... lemme introduce myself properly." Ember says, suddenly shuddering. Cass and I can't help but stare, watching as another woman jumps out of Ember's body.

"H-How... who..." Cass stammers as the new person takes a deep breath.

"Britney. Ember's girlfriend." She sighs, crossing her arms. She's darker than Ember. With shorter, curlier hair. And a more lithe, toned figure rather than Ember's more "thicc" one. Although that ass, even if it isn't as big, is still a nice bubble. And the sports bra and basketball shorts is a pretty big difference from that goth stuff Ember's wearing. "We both have these... possession powers. Ones that Cass used on us."

"Wait, how'd I..." Cass mutters, shaking her head. "You were in Ember the whole time? How..."

"You don't know? Well, I guess Em didn't either when we first met..." Britney asks, helping Ember regain some balance. "Basically, you possessed me. But because I was in Ember, you had control over both of us."

"What?!" I shout. "How-"

"Our powers still work when we're in other bodies." Ember groans, rubbing her head. "Like, if I possess you, I can stay inside you and possess Cass. And then leave as myself or as you. And when you possess someone who is possessed, you get the innermost layer."

"And... there's a thing you can do." Britney says, gulping. "You can make things from inner layers show up on the outermost layer. Like..." She trails off, turning to face me. "Ken, if I possess you, I can... change your body to have any feature I have. And if, after that, I possess Cass, I can change her body to have any features you and I have."

"How'd you figure all this out?!" Cass and I shout in unison. We'd tested, sure, but... NOTHING like what these two are saying!

"I've got a huuuuge family. And they all have these powers." Britney answered, shuddering a bit. "Em's the only one in her family with them though."

"Yeah, it wasn't until Freshman year when we met that... I even learned others have these powers." Ember mutters. "Although we learned the other had these after a swap."

"Swap?" Cass and I ask in unison.

"If two people with these powers jump into each other, they swap." Ember answers, shaking her head. "Who are you two, by the way? We haven't actually met."

"Cass. That's Ken, my younger brother." Cass answers, pointing at me as she says my name. "What are the odds that we're roommates and have these powers?!"

"Yeah, seriously." I mutter, my mind racing at these new possibilities. Seriously, why'd we never think to try using our powers while in another body?! Let alone using them on each other at the same time!

"You think our fourth, err... fifth roommate has them too?" Britney asks, glancing between me and Cass. "And you two... like, actual brother and sister? No sex allowed if-"

"Ken's penis cannot enter my vagina." Cass interrupts, crossing her arms. She's clearly thinking of something. "But... I guess if we're not on the outer 'layers', it's fine? Ken?"

"Yeah." I say, rubbing my chin. "Like, if I possess you, Ember, and make my dick appear on your body, it's fine? Right?"

"Yeah, sounds fine to me. If that's what you two mean." Cass answers, slowly nodding. "'Cause then it's not technically yours, so..."

"Okay, uh... any ground rules with possessing each other?" Britney asks, shifting her weight. "Like... don't ruin my diet. That's mine, basically."

"Uh... I think the outside layer sex thing with Cass is it. Oh, and... don't put anything in my ass. Or do anything with another guy, that kinda stuff." I say, those being the first things that came to mind.

"Just the outside layer sex with Ken. Anything else... go wild." Cass says, shrugging. "Like, I'd also prefer if you wore protection, but it's not end of the world if you don't, I guess."

"Don't get any more piercings or tattoos without my permission." Ember grunts, taking a deep breath before continuing. "And... if you do me a solid and take some exams for me, I'll do the same for you."

"So... what now?" Cass asks, exchanging a look with me. She might as well say that she wants to try out some of the new power stuff. "We're all moved in, so... wanna kill some time before our last roommate shows up?"

"Or roommates." I say, only half-jokingly. "I mean, with the odds that all four of us have these powers, what're the odds that the last roommate is too?"

"Wish I could tell you." Britney sighs. "The only info I have is that she's a she."

"Same." Ember sighs.

"Same too." Cass mutters, shaking her head. "Ken didn't even know we'd have other roommates until we got here, so he's no help."

"Thanks, sis." I grunt, shooting Cass a look. "Anyway, are we gonna kill time or..."
