Elsewhere...

As someone begins to stir in their rooms, something was awakening. A new virus? An experiment gone wrong? Or just pure insanity made real. In an abandoned factory a large vat suddenly began to boil out of nowhere. The black sludge inside the rusting container began to shift into a bright red then dimmed down into a cool blue, and then shifting to a verdant green and everywhere in between. Steam rises in the cool air as the mass continues to heat up, before finally the vat cracks, the fluid sloshing out to the ground and covering most of the old dusty stone floor. The shiny liquid remains still for a bit, before suddenly, it starts to rise up. A small lump forming on the ground as it begins to take shape...
