Elle-sensei

As Elle watched the board, one of the options rose pretty quickly above the rest, keeping a steady lead until Jack's voice filled the room once more.

"Aaaaand we've got a new winner! It seems option 2, Elle-sensei, has caught our audience's interest. Do you hear that, sweetie?"

"You know, Jack, I'm actually quite glad. I already knew Japanese any way, so hopefully this change shoul-dn't... b-be too... what's happening to my voice?"

"What, do you think we would have let you off the hook that easily? Are you even using your silly little brain?"

Elle stared at him speechless as she felt her mind fill with new information and her body start to shift.

Suddenly, Jack put a finger on his earbud: "Ah, I've just been notified that we didn't actually tell you everything about this change, so... our bad? But what would a Bimbo or Billionaire show without some spicy surprises, am I right? So not only are you turning physically Japanese, but this transformation will also somewhat impact your past and reality. Hence the slight accent and the new memories."

"What are you even saying? What are you doing to my life?"

"Oh nothing much. Just keep in mind that you're no longer the main English teacher in school. You're now in charge of Japanese classes, with some literature optionals on the side."

Elle just kept quiet as she sensed her memory shift, reflecting the new paths her life had taken. While her brain went in override to understand this new reality, her body started to lose a couple of inches, as her frame thinned. Looking down, she could see herself getting paler, her cheer outfit giving everyone an ample view of her unblemished skin. Elle’s face started tingling as her cheekbones rose while epicanthic folds appeared over her eyes. She could feel her neck growing sore as an additional weight rested on her skull, her hair getting longer, until the ponytail reached her ass. Catching a strand of it, she noticed it had grown darker, as she would have expected.

“So what? Are you… Ahem, I'll have to get used to this new tone” Elle stated in a softer, slightly accented voice.“Are you making all changes retroactive now? Are you gonna overhaul my whole life?”

“Of course not, sweetie. We know a big change like that would be too hard on a delicate little thing like you. We just felt like giving the audience an extra thing to be enthusiastic about…”

Like before, Elle’s irritation melted under Jack’s patronizing tone. This new, humiliating situation seemed to arouse her, and hearing him treat her like a clueless child in front of a live audience was making her even wetter.

“Oh, that makes me think! We can’t let a cute Japanese girl like you use such a banal, pointless name. I think we can leave it to the audience. If anyone’s got any nice suggestion, they can make it during the next voting round.”

“If everything goes well Jack, there will be no new vote, and no name change. Now why don’t you give me case 7?“

Jack snapped his finger, the signal for Chrissi to go and open a new case, taking out a sign that said 10 000 €, eliciting some **** applauses from the audience.

“Oh, could Lady Luck finally be on your side darling? 10 grands’ a nice sum, but let’s see what your last mandatory case says?”

”I’ll take case 18 then.”

Lifting a new lid, Chrissi took out a picture of a globe.

"Come on, Lifestyle? That's one of the worst ones! I was so close!"

"Don't be a sore looser, sweetie, nobody likes to see your pretty little face get so grumpy. Especially not our voters... Talking of which, let's see those options!"

For the fourth time, the board lit up:

Queen bee - Elle will shed a few years, and end up a 19 year old senior in her school, as well as the team’s head cheerleader.

Exchange teacher - Elle will lose most of her ability to speak English as well her knowledge of American culture and English literature, becoming a recent immigrant, working a few months at her school as part of a teaching semester abroad program.

Did someone say harem? - Elle’s life will become a real life dating sim, where she is courted by multiple characters. Her whole existence will now revolve around romantic relationships and potential partners.

Live-in teacher - Elle’s job will shift from high school teacher to live-in educator, maid and nanny for a well-off family.

Battle for survival - Elle will never be able to hold any traditional, paid job. She will have to find other, unconventional ways to gain money and live.
