Eggman was eliminated by the invading humans; no more Eggman would have been a cause for celebration previously, but now they had nothing to celebrate, as the human empire that defeated him and exterminated him is even more cruel and sick than he was. Now, everyone was totally enslaved, without a single freedom fighter remaining to keep up the fight, leaving them without any hope.

Sage said as she was called in to the human emperor designated to the recently colonized planet of Mobious, despite Sage being reprogrammed so she obeys humans without question, her original self was that there inside somewhere and she was crying on the inside by the lose of her father and freedom.
