Ed's mom is at the door (v2)

Ed froze as he considered what to do, Nyomai grabbed her shirt from the kitchen and walked to the front door.

"Who is it?" she asked through the closed door.

"It's Heather, can I come in, I need to talk about Ed's return. It's affected things with Idris" replied Ed's mom.

"Just a minute... I'm ah, just getting changed" replied Nyomai as she exchanged complicated hand signals with Ed that were basically give me my skirt and get out. Ed threw Nyomai her skirt but in his haste he couldn't see his clothes. His mom was making impatient noises and as soon as Nyomai had her skirt on she indicated to Ed that he should leave, "I put your clothes in the wash" Nyomai hissed at him, Ed began to panic, he did *not* want to have to explain to his mom what he was doing in her friends house naked. Too caught up in his growing panic to think, Ed did the first thing that popped into his head and darted into Jamal's room, shutting the door behind him.

Once inside, Ed took a few deep breaths until his heart stopped pounding in his chest. He could faintly hear Nyomai and his mom talking through the door so leaving through the front was no longer an option. Frustrated at the turn of events Ed looked over the choices still open to him.

1.He could throw on some of Jamal's clothes and risk sneaking out while Nyomai distracted his mom. But that could easily backfire.

2.He could stay put and wait for his mom to leave which would allow him to collect his own clothes before leaving. As he considered the second option, it dawned on Ed that since his mom didn't know he was here, he could use this opportunity to listen in to what his mom was telling Nyomai. Maybe he could get an idea of how to get Idris out of their house.Though again, that risked his mom discovering his presence.

3.Put on some of Jamal's clothes and climb out the bedroom window. Nyomai owned a single floor house so it wouldn't be too far of a climb down. As long as he kept quiet he could hurry home and change into some of his clothes before his mom got back. The main risk here is that someone would see him as he climbed out the window which could make it somewhat obvious what he'd been doing here.

Considering his options, Ed came to a decision.
