Easy Traveling in Viridian Forest

With Blue's Charmander scaring off the few bug Pokemon which are unlucky enough to get close, you and Blue make good progress through Viridian Forest. Before long you have left the deep woods and made it back to the main road and start heading north. You and Blue walk in an awkward silence. Or at least you find it awkward, you aren't sure what Blue is thinking.

After a few hours of walking you are about to suggest taking a break for lunch when you notice a young couple stopped by the side of the road ahead of you, a young man and a young woman. Their faces are close together in conversation and you hear the girl giggle as she says something to her boyfriend.

As you approach you notice the Pokeballs on their belts and you can tell the pair are Pokemon Trainers and might even be traveling together like you and Blue are. You don't get a chance to introduce yourself though, since Blue immediate steps forward and points at the girl "I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!"

The girl looks concerned for a moment before the boy puts a hand on her shoulder "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." The boy says, stepping forward and stands between Blue and the girl. "You will be fighting me."

The boys bravado simply causes Blue to laugh "You know that isn't how this works. I already issued her a challenge, you can't fight me until after our battle. It's a rule."

"Fine, if you are going to challenge my girlfriend to a Pokemon Battle then I'll challenge your girlfriend" he points a finger as you "to a Pokemon Battle."

This simply causes Blue to laugh "Do it then, who knows she might lose on purpose."

"Blue!"

"What? Just a few hours ago you were saying how I'm not 'the only dick in existence'. Well here you go."

"I don't want to have sex with some random person!" You reply angrily, causing Blue to laugh again.

"Well then don't lose." He tells you, still chuckling.
