Ease the way for Rebecca and Marina as roommates

Crisp eventually yawns, excuses himself to go to the lavatory, and returns, sleepy-eyed, to the bedroom he shares with Saltire.

Saltire is snoring gently after having administered a manual sleeping potion in the form of a long, climactic wank, coincidentally reaching culmination at the same time as Marina Madeline did in her own room.

The door closes on the boys' room.

"I hope things will work out," Rebecca Honeybee says, giving you an uncertain look.

You look at Marina's roommate. "Does it bother you that we could hear Andrew wanking off?" you ask.

She laughs. "No, that doesn't bother me. He's not my roommate."

"But having Madeline do it?" you say.

"She asked," Honeybee says. "So I gave her some space. But, you know, she's been at it half the day and into the night."

"She'll probably settle down," you say. "But some people do it more than others, and she might be one of those."

"She is," Honeybee says. "She told me she wanks a lot."

"Would you feel better if you didn't have to leave the room?" you ask. "I mean, it's your room too."

She pushes her glasses up. "People do that? Just wank off in the same room? I mean, I could imagine boys doing it, you know boys. But girls too?"

"Yes," you say.

"Oh," she says. She toys with her braid. "Really, they just do?"

"Well, you should ask," you say. "But lots of people are alright with it, you know. I wouldn't mind in the slightest. I mean, if you weren't doing it all night or something. I don't have a shared bedroom, so it didn't come up. Did she actually say she wanted you out?"

Rebecca tilts her head. "Well, not actually. She said something like, 'Honeybee, I'm going to have a wank, if you don't mind, is that alright?' So I stepped out."

"If Madeline's like she says," you reply, "you two might get on better if you just stay while she does it. Would it bother you?"

"I, I don't know," she says. "I've never."

"It's good fun, I promise you," you tell her. "If it doesn't work out, we'll try something else."

"What do you mean?" she asks.

"Well, let me ask first. Do you wank too?"

She swallows and nods. "Yes," she says.

"Then we'll ask her if it's alright if either of you can just do it," you say. "Would it bother you if she were in the room when you were doing it?"

"I don't know," she whispers. "I, well, I've never."

"Nothing for it than to try," you encourage her. "It's good for you, you know. Let's not have you thinking you have to sneak off to the loo like some benighted school for prudes."

You may be overplaying your hand on Boarbristle here, but from its reputation, it's rather the opposite of a prudish institution.

"I suppose," she sighs.

You lead her over to her shared bedroom and tap on the door. "Madeline, we have a question," you say.

You hear Marina moving about. She opens the door, nude, her full curves exposed, though her hair is tucked up and wrapped in a turban for sleep.
