Earning some Stars

Reinvigorated by their lunchtime bonding session, the three teens head out into the city. Agreeing to meet back in an hour at the tallest building around, they split up and searched for opponents.

Min-min had a surprisingly difficult time finding opponents. Everyone had already found a dueling partner, and seemed disinterested in battle afterwards. Min-min watched a few of these fights, enamored by the masterful skill she was witnessing.

Ridley vs. Mario.

Cloud vs. Chrom.

Ike vs. Zelda. Min-min had to turn away from this battle as it wrapped up. With the princess ass up on the ground, and a grin on Ike’s face, she knew where it was headed.

Eventually, the blonde found an opponent in the plucky Olimar. Challenging him in a city park, with a nearby R. O. B. as a referee, the two faced off.

While a tough fight, it was not particularly close. The astronaut has no idea how to approach his long-armed opponent, and took two hits for every one he was able to land. Min-min only lost one stock before claiming her victory!

Four stars on her belt, Min-Min made her way over to the meeting spot. Roy was already there, sharpening his sword while he waited. Noticing his approaching companion, he perked up.

“Hey hey hey! Looks like someone won their match!” He cheered, pointing at her hat.

“Guilty as charged!” Min-min giggled. “How did you do?”

“Oh, Jigglypuff didn’t stand a chance!” Roy boasted, showing off the four stars on his belt. “I wonder how-“

“GUYS! GUYS!” Leaf interrupted, running over as if on cue. “I won two matches! TWO!”

“Wow, that’s incredible!” Roy cheered. “That means we all have four now!”

“I feel like I’m on top of the world!” Leaf continued, almost hyperventilating from excitement. “I could take anyone on right now. Hell, I could take two at once! I’ve never felt so-AHHHHHH!”

She was cut short by a flash of brown fur. To everyone’s shock, a huge beast grabbed Leaf, throwing the poor teen over his shoulder. Ignoring her high pitched protests, the monster began to scale the building.

“STOP!” Min-min shouted, “Get back here!” With the beast clearly not listening, she launched herself in the air and went after them. Her arms were great at climbing, allowing her to chase him up the side of the building.
