"I don't think we should go to my place." Kendra told them, "I live in the dorms. One of the smaller ones."

Lisa agreed, "My place is out too, the sorority house has too many people." Lisa's tail was finally starting to show splotches of human skin by now.

"Well, I know you girls don't know me very well but, we could go to my place. The rest of my fraternity is away for the week at a game. We have a pool." "Not really. I'm only in the frat because my older brother was. They respect family, even if I don't really have the same interests. It's nice." He answered honestly.

"I think it's our best option as long as Kendra can't change back." Said Lisa. The single limb that was her tail split apart down the middle, becoming two legs. "You made it?" Drew asked, he seemed excited. Can you make one that does the opposite? Is that possible?"

"No," Kendra admitted. "I was part of..." She stopped, not really feeling comfortable enough with either of these two to tell them about the scientists or the lab experiments. "I got the formula from a doctor. My mother took me to see him when I first transformed."

"Your mom knows?" Lisa asked, surprised. Her fins shrunk in size and became feet, the webbed endings congealing into ten toes.

"Yeah," Kendra answered. "I turned into this after my eighteenth birthday party. Both my parents know. Do yours not?" She asked. She couldn't imagine dealing with this and not having told her parents.

"How would I tell them? I transformed when I was eighteen too, but no one else saw it happen. How would I explain it? I wasn't even sure it was real for about a week, I thought I was on ****!" Lisa explained, she pulled on her panties, then followed with a pair of short shorts. "So wait," Drew cut in, "If neither of your parents knew what would happen when you two turned eighteen, it's not genetic then? Your parents aren't centaurs or mermaids?"

Kendra shook her head, "Mom and dad were just as surprised as I was when I starting turning into a horse."

Lisa frowned, "I guess I don't really know. I've never told them so, it never came up."

"Then, what caused it? How did this happen? Are there others like you two? Could I meet them?" He was getting increasingly excited.

"Drew, I have no idea. I doubt Kendra does either. Until today I thought I was the only one like this at all." Lisa said, putting a hand on Drew's shoulder. Kendra agreed with her.

Drew took a deep breath. "Sorry it's just, it's so cool you two are real! A real mermaid and a real centaur. At my school!"

Kendra couldn't help but giggle, Drew was childlike in his fascination with what she always considered to make her a freak of nature. It was weirdly flattering.

"Kendra, can I ask, how fast can you run?" He was trying his hardest not to turn and look at her.

Kendra thought for a moment. "Well, I don't really get to run a lot, and I don't have a speedometer or anything but, I know I can keep up with a car. Unless someone's riding my back. That tends to slow me down."

"You let people ride you? Who?" It was Lisa who asked this time.

"Well, I tend to get really antsy when I'm using the formula, like my body wants to run in its real form. So my parents and I took up trail riding. I would skip my formula for a day and we'd drive out to some remote hiking spots, then I'd transform and they'd ride me." Kendra smiled while telling the story. She loved those trail rides.

"Speaking of the formula," Drew interjected, "Where do you keep it? You probably want to get back to human form."

"I keep the vials in my dorm room, I hide them under my bed. There's no way I can go back for them though." By now they were pulling through the Frat house suburb. the houses were all large and had big yards. Drew pulled the van into the driveway of the house with big red greek letters spelling "Theta Iota Upsilon"

"Well, maybe I can go get them? I have to go back anyway, the fraternity will get into a lot of trouble if someone sees the band van parked out front." Drew offered, putting the car in park. It was very nice of him to offer, but Kendra didn't know how comfortable she felt about Drew going through her dorm room.

"I don't know..." Kendra said hesitantly.
