Drinks with the Boss (side story)

Gwenneth’s phone buzzed.

*A few of the girls from the office are meeting up for drinks. Are you free?*

It was from Ms. Brighthorn. She considered it. They had all been so friendly when she was in the same department, welcoming her like a sister. And, unfortunately, she hadn't had the opportunity to make anyother plans with Daddy...

*Yeah, I’m free. Where at?*

*Miss Shiavereth’s apartment. Let me send you an address.*

Half an hour later she was there, walking out of the elevator on the sixth floor of a very nice(but not nearly as nice as hers) luxury apartment building.

Becksdale greeted her at the door with an enthusiastic hug.

"I'm so glad that you could come! Not everyone was able to, you know. This little shindig might be a tad smaller than I had hoped. Kira flaked out on us, said she didnt have anything left to wear. Mata said she had to go visit her sister, but she wasn’t particularly happy about it. And Soks said she wanted to come but then immediately changed her mind when I mentioned that it was just going to be us girls."

"What about Cheryl?"

"She said that it was mean to invite her out when it was so cold outside, and that she wasn't moving out from her heated apartment for anything less than Arthur’s cock."

Gwenneth’s eyes bugged.

"What?!?!"

"I know, right? What are we?" She gestured wildly "Besides, Dany doesn’t seem to think she has a chance with him. Anyways, yeah, smaller group then I hoped for."

"So how many of us are here?"

"Just us."

Danyssa stood behind a small kitchen island bar made of black marble, covered with three rows of shot glasses filled with milky white liquid.
