Drifting Through Shark Infested Waters

We were left to drift for days as a slow current took us towards somewhere. Whether or not we manage to make it is another story. We hit shallow water near a reef on occasion, but the current always blew us back on whatever path we were on. After all, the sea god wasn’t alive or dead.

While we traveled, Elorael taught me the basics of the sea god breathing technique, and we fed on the sea god it was inspired by.

We once were known as the sky people and used sky god breathing. Then the sea god came and killed our original god and, in the fight, destroyed 3 of our original 4 islands. It’s the reason why our island can only sustain so many of us. It also devoured most of the sea life and destroyed any boat we sailed out into the sea.
