Drakling

With a determined look on her face, Leanna makes her decision: “Drakling. At least to see what I’ll look like as one. If it is basically just an animal that walks on two legs, then no. I’m not a furry.”

Just as before, the mirror blurs along with her vision, and when it clears Leanna is relieved to see that she isn’t some furry creature. There are still animal features, but she is firmly in monster girl territory, as once again Leanna is visibly still herself. Except this time she has pale skin, black hair, patches of grey scales across her body and limbs, a tail trailing out behind her, two back swept horns atop her head, and she is at least a full head taller than she was as an Orc or High Elf.

“Ah, so ‘Drak’ is for ‘dragon’ then...” Leanna comments as she leans towards the mirror to inspect the little scales on her cheekbones. “Huh... I actually look pretty good like this. And the tail doesn’t feel all that weird either... It’ll still take some getting used to, but I kind of like this. Yeah, I’ll be a Drakling then. I guess it is time to move onto messing with my appearance.”

A massive menu suddenly opens up all around Leanna’s vision, absolutely crammed with various sliders and drop down menus for every aspect of her body.

“Whoa, that’s kind of overwhelming...” Leanna mutters out as her eyes trail over all of the choices. The drop down menu for Sex all the way at the top of the menu draws her attention. Its already on female, of course, but a part of her is curious about what she’d look like as a man.

Responding to those thoughts, the menu expands.

Female: Drakling women are more resilient than the males. Gain an additional +1 Endurance & +1 Toughness.

Male: Drakling men are stronger and more ferocious than the females. Gain an additional +1 Might & +1 Toughness.

Hermaphrodite: These rare Draklings have the traits of both sexes, typically appearing as larger females with male genitalia. Gain an additional +1 Might, +1 Endurance, & +1 Toughness

“Huh...? What kind of perverts worked on this game? At least they tried to be a bit medical with it and aren’t just calling it futa or shemale or dickgirl...” Leanna says with a shake of her head, but despite her judgment she finds herself tempted.

“I’d get a free stat if I... It is just one point, and I don’t really want to min-max here... But... this game is supposed to be a pretty realistic simulation and getting pregnant would really ruin my warrior play style... And being a guy would be a bit weird... Oh, fuck it. Why not.”

With her decision made, Leanna’s appearance shifts once more. This time the change is much quicker and far more abrupt, almost unnoticeable with how subtle most of the differences are. She appears to have gotten ever so slightly taller, her muscles are a little more defined, and her horns changed to face forwards. Oh, and of course she now has a fairly sizable penis and hefty testicles hanging between her legs.

“Oh for fucks sake!” Leanna exasperatedly exclaims as she looks down at herself. Her new Drakling penis is a little bit more bestial than a normal one is, with fleshy ridges lining its shaft and a semi-flared head capping it off. “Did they really need to add this much detail to the thing?! Whoever designed this really is a pervert...”

Despite her protests and complaints, Leanna simply shakes her head and moves on. She made this choice, so she’ll stick with it. The fact that she isn’t just going to back to selecting female doesn’t make her a pervert. That is on the developers. Besides, she has a lot of customization options to go through, so no point in getting all hung up on this.

“And... there! Perfect!” Leanna excitedly cheers out as she steps back from the mirror to take in the entirety of her completed form. In place of the scrawny IT worker that she was when she started is now what can be best described as an amazonian dragon girl, albeit without any wings as that wasn’t an option, much to her disappointment. She gave herself a very strong figure, one that makes the claims of this game being realistic a little bit unbelievable. And that isn’t just because she made her breasts rather large and firm, potentially around DD-Cups, though the menu slider annoyingly didn’t say so she can only guess. No, it is because her muscles are incredibly defined in a way that you would only get if you were dehydrated. And probably using steroids.

Her abs, thighs, biceps, and even back are so well defined that the smallest movement shows how strong of a character she made, while still looking surprisingly womanly. Leanna may have gone on a bit of a power trip with the various muscle sliders. But who doesn’t want to be strong?

Though it is difficult to tell in this featureless stone room with nothing to compare herself to, Leanna has made herself into a bit of a giant at 233.68 cm tall. Or 7’8” as the menus seem to display both measurements. Part of her feels like she went a bit overboard there, but she is creating an imposing warrior here, so it fits. Besides, she didn’t max out the bar, so it doesn’t seem to even be that **** for Draklings.

Her new skin is even lighter and more white than when she started. But rather than the sickly pallid paleness she had before, her current snowy white colouring looks much healthier. Probably because she can’t see any veins through it. There weren’t many options to choose from for skin tones, as Draklings seem to be a bit more grey-scale than she was expecting. The flavour text did mention they were from the frozen wastes of the north so that does make some sense. But still, it would have been nice to have options other than snow white and very light grey...

She had a similar issue with the scales, as she barely had any choice with their colouring, simply just what shade she wanted between white and black. She chose black, as the contrast against her skin looked quite nice. But luckily the placements of the scales more than made up for the lack of colours, as there were just so many different choices to choose from.

Once again, Leanna might have gotten a bit carried away with the scales, carefully placing and arranging them across her body. In some spots she placed them a bit more sparsely, such as her face which has a few atop her cheekbones, some near the base of her jaw, and a bunch along the top of her surprisingly Elfish, though considerably shorter, ears. But in other places she tried to cover as much as she could, specifically her back and tail.

She did have limits on where she could place the jet black scales, which annoyingly included said tail, as she could only cover the top part of it and mostly near its base too. That left her tail looking a little too meaty for her taste, but there was nothing she could do about that. Her back had a similar issue, as it only let her cover up the spine and a small area around it, as well as a bit on the sides of her neck. But at least she was able to place some over her collarbone and hips, connecting the scales on her limbs to her spine and making them seem a lot less disconnected.

Her arms and legs are where she spent most of the time placing scales, as she’ll probably be seeing them the most and didn’t want an out of place scale bug her for the rest of the game. It is almost like she is wearing gloves, as the scales cover her arms completely from the tips of her clawed hands to her elbows before continuing up to her shoulders on the outside of her arms, leaving her biceps mostly bare.

The scales on her feet are also rather similar in their placement, but with one key difference: her feet themselves are a lot more bestial. In all honesty, she didn’t notice that before working her way to them. Leanna is a little annoyed that their digitigrade form, each with three forward facing clawed toes and little seemingly useless thumb claws near the back, means that she won’t be able to wear proper armour on them. She’ll have to get stuff custom fit, which is a pain, but by the time that Leanna noticed she had done so much work that it was too late to change her race.

That annoyance was alleviated a bit when she made it to the hair and eye options though, as she finally had some colours to play around with. As tempted as she was to keep the black hair, as that now matched her scales, Leanna instead decided on a deep red colour, almost the colour of fresh blood. It made her look all the more intimidating. It also made her realize that Draklings don’t seem to have any body hair at all, just eyebrows, eyelashes, and the hair atop their head.

As for the eyes, she went for a nice bright emerald green, which she felt looked quite nice with her red hair and snow white skin. Leanna was tempted to make them red though, but that made her feel a little bit like an albino with dyed hair.

After choosing her hair colour she moved onto her horns, where Leanna may have gotten a bit carried away as well. There were just so many options. It also didn’t help that she found out how to get two sets of horns. Sadly, she couldn’t get any more than four in total, but that wasn’t too much of a loss as she only has so much room on her head for them anyway.

She is quite happy with the four that she got, as they are nice and symmetrical from left to right. All of the horns start at the base of her skull, behind her ears and near her spine. Two of them curl up over the ears and around to the front of her head before turning upwards, giving them a rather regal and crown like appearance. The other two ruin that a bit, as they instead curl down alongside her chin, albeit with a fair bit of space left, and turn up and outwards like elephants tusks. That is the only similarity they have with tusks though, as Leanna gave her horns a ridged segmented form and a dark black colour just like her scales. They make her look pretty intimidating, and a helmet should be able to fit on her head if she has its sides removed.

Beyond that, there wasn’t all that much else she could change. At least not significantly. She did make her face look different, giving it a more stern and aggressive appearance, but that is all. Leanna discovered that she has rather carnivorous and sharp teeth, with even the molars climbing to sharp points in their outer corners. And her tongue really made her question how horny these developers are, as it is a long fleshy appendage of a dark red colour with fleshy bumps along the upper edges of it. It looks more like a dildo than a tongue, a feeling that isn’t helped by the fact that she could stretch it down to her chest, almost all the way to her nipples, and that it seems pretty easy to move it around however she wants to.

She also couldn’t do anything to make her dick look more... normal. She did play around with the sliders though, conveniently forgetting to slide it back down after making it a rather large 40.64 cm, or 16”, which worryingly was not as large as the slider could go. The menu was also rather odd in that it had width instead of circumference, which she also forgot to change off of 8.89 cm, or 3.5”. And just proving how forgetful she was, Leanna did the exact same thing with the slider for her testicles, leaving them at 7.62 cm, or 3”.

Through all of this Leanna also discovered that despite being called a Hermaphrodite she only had male genitalia: the only thing behind her new package was an asshole. And her new tail. It is pretty clear to her that the developers are complete perverts trying to use more clinical terms to appear professional.

But after what felt like hours upon hours, she was finally done creating her character. Well, not really. She still has a few categories to go through. So really, who knows how long she spent on this. And with the IVR messing with her perspective of time, it could have only been an hour. That’s pretty good for character creation.

“Whew... That was a lot... Probably the best character creator I’ve used. Even if the interface could use some work.” Leanna comments as she inspects her body. “Well, I’m happy with this. So onto the next part. Whatever that is.”
