You arrived back in Dragonstone and delivered the letter to your father as soon as you saw him. You then found out the news of what had happened in King's landing since you left. Ned had been taken prisoner as was now in the black cells, the Lannisters had claimed it was an attempted coup for him to steal the crown. Renly had declared himself King after failing in his plot to get Ned to crown you and the North had rebelled to free Ned from his capture.

"It is the right time now your grace," Melisandre said as your father looked over the carved table.

"We don't have the men that we need to claim the Iron Throne," Stannis said in anguish.

"The lord of light is worth 100,000 soldiers," Melisandre said her tone still incredibly still and neutral.

"We need to make an alliance," You say and Stannis nods.

"Aye, but I will not make alliances with houses that are openly defiant," Stannis said. "And it is looking like the Tyrells are going to back my traitorous brother," he continued.

"We need to stop Renly before he can marry Margeary and join their forces together," You said and Stannis slammed his fist on the table.

"Set my ship to sail I will head with the lady Melisandre to Storm's End to see to Renly. You have control of the castle whilst I'm away," Stannis said.
