What do you do?
Drag yourself out of bed.
Unsurprisingly, you all sleep in late.
It's almost noon when enough of the girls, and you as well, groan to the light of the sun through the window, and stir the rest to finally get up without simply shutting one's eyes to sleep even longer. The disaster of the room is more apparent now that the new day has come. Someone is going to have to clean everything in here, and you feel bad it's likely to be somebody isn't paid enough for that.
After slipping yourself free from the cuddle pile of legs, arms, and the rest, you gather a very generous amount of coins for a tip--more than anybody has likely left before. In a world where a meal is several silver a most, to give gold coins is akin to flexing hundred dollar bills in a sense. A handful of those is nothing to your treasury, especially if you can sell those dwarven artifacts, and they may have to replace some of bedding after what you all did to it.
While you're putting on your pants, you turn to see the others search all over the place for their garments.
Eva looks across the room to a frustrated Niki and holds up the girl's panties in one hand. "Looking for these?" she asks with a grin.
"Were you hiding them from me?" Niki asks.
"Only a little. But they got so wet, I don't think--"
"Fountain."
"Bllllblblblblllblblbll--Stop that!" Eva shouts as she's buffeted by an ongoing geyser of water from over the bed.
"Just giving them a wash."
Eva yanks the Decanter of Endless Water from the other's hand, but returns the undergarments as well. "Speaking of which, we need to do laundry after all that. And have a bath."
"We are going shopping today anyway, right?" Amara asks, still naked in the bed. Her skin is now sprinkled by mist of the Decanter's previous spray. "For panties. Perhaps one of the places will wash our clothing as well."
You tighten your belt. "Maybe we can ask the staff if they know--" Your attention is turned towards the door. There is no sound. Nobody else hears anything. Yet despite that, something doesn't feel right. You reach down to Lauo at your side, and slowly draw it from its scabbard as you near the doorway. "Hey. I'll be right back. You all keep getting ready in here. No rush."
"Is something wrong?" Snow asks.
"Hopefully not."
You shut the door again behind you.
Quietly, you creep down the hallway and towards the stairs. Once you reach a few steps down, you slow even further, and turn your eyes around the corner to see if anything is amiss. Though the farther you travel from the others, the less the steel of your weapon slows, it never fizzles out completely. You can feel their strength inside of you, and your weapon burns with potent magic power.
Just as you thought, there's trouble afoot. A tall figure looms in the center of the inn, and even someone without Kitty Sense would know he was up to no good.
