Dr. Stone Is The Surrogate

"What?" Moonstone said, unable to believe her own ears when Doctor Doom presented the plan.

The holographic projection of his head floated above the desk in her office. Moonstone stared at it in disbelief.

"It is the most logical outcome. Richards will be less opposed to the pregnancy if his wife is not actually carrying the fetus, and Sue Storm's cosmically-altered anatomy will not present so difficult a gestation and birth if the child is carried by another. You are now her closest friend and lover; an obvious choice as surrogate."

Moonstone's eyes went wide. Her body shook, muscles suddenly rigid in disbelief.

"This...this isn't what I signed up for. The plan was to get Sue Storm pregnant, to break up her marriage..." The words came out fast.

"That is still the plan," Doom said. "But the possibility of an heir to Latveria requires precautions. So I have altered the plan to better suit our needs."

"Our needs!" she said. "What about my needs!? I don't want to get knocked up! I can't be...I'm not..."

The implants in her skull suddenly buzzed to life. Moonstone clamped her hands to her head, unable to think as the cosntant buzzing rattled her skull.

"You can," he said, his voice quiet yet determined. "We have been working towards this moment for some time. I admit, at first, your reflexive rejection of the idea was vehement. Yet since then, you have come around to the concept of surrogacy, have you not? The idea elicits a sexual thrill within you."

The words sank into Moonstone's head. She couldn't think. It felt as if she was black out drunk, her thoughts slow as a drop of tar pitch. Doom's words crowded everything else out of her head.

For the first time that she could recall, Moonstone now knew what it was like for Sue Storm when the villain used her new powers on her. The sense of utter openness, the inability to form any rational argument or comeback, the sheer acceptance was alien to her.

And terribly effective.

"Yes..." Moonstone said, as blood began to seep from her nostrils. "I want to carry Sue's baby...your baby..."

By the time Doom was finished, Moonstone's head was on the desk. Eyes rolled back in her head, her blonde hair spread out over the desk in a pool of blood that oozed from eyes, ears, and nose. The door opened, and a pair of Doombots entered. They carefully cleaned the blood from her face and desk, retrieved the bottle of Johnny Walker black label from the bottom of the desk, and set the scene.

When Karla awoke to the almost-empty bottle, head pounding, she groaned. She didn't want to touch another drop of **** ever again. Which was good, because she would have to abstain for the entire length of the pregnancy.

She just hoped Sue Storm would agree to let her go through with it.
