What does Dr. Stone share with Sue Storm?
Dr. Stone Admits She's Bisexual
"I've had sexual relationships with both men and women," Dr. Stone said.
Sue Storm absorbed this. They were two women, naked, together, in a sauna.
"Relax, I'm not making a pass at you," Dr. Stone said with a smile. "You're beautiful, but you're also a patient. It would be completely unethical."
"Also, married," Sue Storm said.
"Surprisingly, you wouldn't be my first married woman," Dr. Stone said with a grin.
"Isn't that a breach of ethics?" Sue asked.
"No, that's a breach of morals. Completely different," Karla said, making a knife-hand gesture. The blonde doctor closed her eyes and leaned against the wooden wall of the sauna. Careful to keep her distance from Sue, careful to keep her legs together.
"It started at university. Just an experiment, you know. Young women playing with their chemistry sets. At my home, my mother wouldn't even say the word 'lesbian.' Thought being gay was a disease. I suppose, in a way, that was my little bit of rebellion. To see if I even liked it," Karla said.

"I didn't stick with just women. I dated men, too. Well. Dating might not be the right term," Dr. Stone mused. "I wanted sex. Wanted to get off. I wouldn't say I was indiscriminate, but when I was in the mood, one or the other would suit me better. In my profession, I've found I'm sometimes surrounded by very attractive people of both genders. Wouldn't you say the same?"
Sue Storm thought of She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Tigra, and Medusa. Thought, too, of Namor, Captain America, Black Panther, and Thor.
"Yes," the heroine said, guardedly.
"But you didn't meet them until after you were married," Karla said. "After you'd already made your choice. No time to experiment, was there?"
Sue Storm was very quiet for a moment. Too quiet. Moonstone smiled. Her eyes glowed beneath her closed lids, and a gravimetric pulse hit the Invisible Woman's brain. She staggered, the heat of the sauna suddenly making Sue Storm's head swim.
"Have you ever been attracted to another woman, Sue?
