Double Trouble

"Yes, Ashley, I know!" Jane said to The Spectre, "The exact same thing happened to us too; you were taking a bath and then suddenly your clothes and covering were gone."

"All I know is that when I get my hands on -"

"It happened to Kasumi, too!" Jane groaned, getting tired of repeating the same thing over and over. "Her, me, Tali, Jack, Miranda; the only who wasn't hit yet, as far as we know, was Liara! Speaking of which, hold on. I have to see if she found anything yet..."

"Liara! Liara, are you there?!"

Maya and The Double looked up at the holo on Liara's desk, a smirk coming to the formers face. "Since the real McCoy knows a little too much," she began as she turned to The Double, "why don't you have a little fun with the others? Make sure they squirm with embarrassment."

The Double smiled and nodded as she walked into Liara's bedroom, Maya tying up and gagging The Shadowbroker as she dragged her out of the room.

"Liara?!" Jane called out again, getting worried. However, the second a fully dressed Liara came on to the screen, she calmed down. "Liara! Thank God! Did you find out who's behind this?"

"Unfortunately, No." The Double lied with a shake of her head. "Whoever did this clearly knows us too well and covered their tracks. I actually managed to scare her off before she struck me, but I wasn't able to get a good look at her. I still have my clothes over here, so you girls can borrow some of mine until we get this straightened out."

"Thanks, Liara. I'll wait for you to pick us up."

"Unfortunately, that's not possible." The Double lied with a shake of her head. "My skycar broke down this morning. And even if it wasn't, I still need to be here in case whoever this is strikes me next. I need you to call Kasumi, Jack, Miranda, Tali, and Ashley and let them know you'll be swinging by each of their places to pick them up before making your way over to my place."

"What?!" Jane asked in shock, burning scarlet. "But I'll be running all around the city before we all end up streaking thirty miles to your place! Can't I just use my skycar to pick them up?"

"No! I overheard her saying that she hotwired all the skycars of those she targeted to explode!" The Double replied in a very convincingly concerned voice. "I don't want to lose you again, Jane!"

Jane sighed. "Very well then. But this is going to be the most humiliating moment of my life..."

"I'm sorry, Jane." The Double replied before hanging up... An evil smirk coming to her lips. "Sucker!"
