Chapter 28 by Zeebop Zeebop

What is the price of Doctor Doom's help?

Doom Demands An Affair

"Very well," Doctor Doom said. "Porkum dies. You have the word of Victor von Doom. But in exchange I demand...you."

Sue Storm's heart stopped for a moment.

"Me?" she said.

"A relationship. An affair, if you will. You may maintain your pathetic sham of a marriage with Richards if you wish, but when I call, you will come. You will be my mistress, to see to my emotional and sexual needs, as I see to yours."

Sue Storm swallowed hard as her heart began to beat again, faster this time. She had said anything. And it wasn't as if she hadn't already betrayed Reed. Perhaps if she was less emotionally distraught, she might have refused Doom. Cursed him. Then she felt a flutter in her stomach. The bastard Porkum had left her. The threat he had made towards her.

"I..." she took a deep breath and **** her voice to be calm. "Can we be discreet?"

"As discreet as you wish," the Latverian monarch said. "In this, too, you have the word of Doom. I will contact you after the deed is done to arrange our first...date."

The communication ended. Sue Storm felt hollow. She shook. Yet tears did not come. What was one more betrayal, at this point? Did it really matter if she sucked Victor von Doom's cock instead of her husband's? The Invisible Woman felt sullied and shamed, inside and out.

Yet a part of her knew that if there was one person she could trust in the world to do as he said, it was Doctor Doom.

In Doomstadt, the Latverian monarch closed his eyes. His triumph was not complete. Not yet. But it was closer than it had ever been. To have Sue Storm reach out to him of her own accord, to agree to cuckold that fool...in the cold calculus of his obsession with Mister Fantastic, the ends did justify the means.

With a tap of control, the image of the screen shifted to where Porkum currently was. His "partner" was currently staring at a roast boar provided by Latveria's royal chef. The resemblance between their porcine features apparently caused the mutant some amusement, though he exhibited no compunction as he began to tear into the dish with his bare fingers.

A beast in act as well as form and nature. Doom felt no regret as he pressed a button to seal the room. Another button reversed the air filtration system, pumping carbon dioxide into the room. Within seconds, the **** lost consciousness and slid to the ground. **** came swiftly. Painlessly. A mercy granted to few. Doom waited to ensure all metabolic activity had ceased.

Doombots moved through the deathly room and silently removed the corpse. They prepared it for transport as the filters resumed their normal operation.

Victor von Doom turned his attention toward preparing for his first date with Susan Storm.

"We're gettin' a message," Ben Grimm said, from the comm station of the Baxter Building. "From Doom."

"Just what we need," Reed Richards said, his face unshaven, eyes tired. The hunt for Sue Storm's **** had consumed too many hours of sleep.

"He's...requestin' permission to land on the roof," he said.

"What does that tin-headed, tin-pot dictator want?" Johnny Storm said.

"Says...it's about Suzie," Ben gave a shrug that could have lifted mountains.

"Let him land," Sue said. She appeared at the doorway, in a long blue gown, not her regular Fantastic Four uniform. "And hear what he has to say."

Reed stared at Sue for a long moment, then nodded.

The Latverian shuttle settled onto the designated landing spot. A door opened, and Doom descended. The cargo bay opened, and two Doombots emerged carrying a pink, flabby carcass, it's obscene phallus dragging on the roof.

"Mrs. Richards," Doctor Doom said. "Is this the one who harmed you?"

Sue Storm stared at Porkum's slack face. An emotion she could not name ran through her, and to the shock of all, an invisible guillotine slammed through the fat neck, so that the head bounced on the roof and rolled towards her. Gently, she knelt down and picked it up. Stared into the small dark eyes. Her frail body shook. She wanted to scream. To vomit. To tear it apart, instead, she let it fall from her hands, to stare at the blood on them.

"Yes," she said quietly. "That was him. Thank you."

"How did you find him?" Reed Richards asked, unable to restrain his curiosity.

Doom did not answer for a long moment.

"He had access to advanced technology. A chamber that hid him one second into the future. Such a solution prevented any normal sensor from finding him. Yet I monitor the eddies of time. I detected the drag of his temporal manipulation. After that, disposal was a rather simple matter."

"Well, uh. Thanks." Ben Grimm rubbed his stony head. "Normally I ain't one for ****, but I ain't gonna lose any sleep about one less **** in the world."

"Indeed," Reed Richards said. "Thank you, Victor. Johnny, could you dispose of the corpse?"

"Gladly," the Human Torch said.

White flames burst from his hand. The immolation was swift, complete, and total. Skin and muscle, bone and fat incinerated into clean white ash that the whipping winds carried away. Sue Storm remained standing, fists at her side, blood dripping through her fingers. She watched until there was nothing left of Porkum but a memory...and the scars he had left on her body...and the child in her womb.

"I take my leave, then," Doctor Doom said. Yet he hesitated, for just a moment. "And Susan, for what it is worth—I am sorry for what you have suffered. And glad I could be of service to you."

Without another word, he returned to his ship. The craft rose into the sky.

Nausea ate at Sue Storm's guts as she returned inside, to her private bathroom, to wash her hands. She could not tell if it was morning sickness or the queasy sensation of knowing that she had been responsible for Porkum's ****. That Doom had fulfilled his part of the bargain. For the rest of the Fantastic Four, this was a release. An opportunity for things to return to normal.

Yet Sue Storm knew things would never be normal again. She did not feel guilt as the water washed the mutant's blood from her fingers. Did not feel guilt as she removed her wedding band to scrub her hands with soap. Nor guilt for not putting it back on again, but leaving it by the sink.

Soon, she knew, Doom would call for her. She had to be ready.

How does Sue Storm and Victor von Doom's first date go?
