Chapter 23

What's next?
Don't want the money.
“Keep it. Use it on her.”
“That is very sweet. Thank you.” Lily smiled at me.
“I should get going before I end up having to spend the night at the Tavern again.” I stood up. The goblin girl looked up at me and said something in goblin.
“She wants to know if you are going?” Aaron said. I pointed to her and then to them. To my her belly and rubbed mine. Pointed to them and made laid my head on my hands like I was sleeping. To them and held my hands over my head like a roof. She smiled and nodded and said something.
“She says okay.” Aaron nodded.
“Thank you for your help dear.” Lily brushed up against me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
“See you soon.” I stood up and ruffled her hair. I headed out and untied my horse.
“Hey. Thanks for your help.” Artemis said as she came out behind me.
“You would have figured it out.” I shrugged. She had figured out the bridge thing.
“But it was funner with you.” Artemis said and stole a quick kiss catching me by surprise.
“What was that for?”
“For giving a damn.” She shrugged. “And no looking at my ass when I walk away.” She smiled and turned walking back toward the house. Of course I looked. She diffidently took after her mother when it came to teasing men but I wasn't going to complain. She looked back and smiled before heading back into the house.
I put my horse in the stable and headed inside with my stuff.
“Hey you. We were wondering if you got lost.” Arwen said as she sat at the bar drinking some of the Satyr wine no doubt. She wasn't much for strong **** but as lithe as elves were I was sure it didn't take much to get them drunk off their ass.
“No, just been busy. Your just the woman I wanted to see actually.” I said and walked around to sit beside her.
“Why is that?” She smiled
“You know the king is coming to huntersrest?”
“Yes.” She nodded.
“The inn keeper their needs entertainment and I suggested you.”
“Really?” She smiled brightly.
“Yes. I didn't know if you would be interested or not and no guarantees you will get to sing before the King himself but.”
“Yes. I am more then interested.” She grabbed me and hugged me tightly. “If Astrid doesn't mind.” She said as she pulled away and looked at Astrid who was toweling out a mug.
“Not at all. I think we can manage a week without you. Just be sure to let them know where you normally work at for me.” Astrid smiled. She ran off to go tell Helga the good news.
“Thank you.” Astrid said touching my hand and gave it a squeeze. “Wondering where you got off to last night.”
“I got to the top of the Greenhill mountains so it got dark on my way back so I stayed the night at hunterrest.”
“Ah. See any elves?” Astrid teased.
“No. Just a few faeries.”
“Really?” She smiled and leaned closer as she put both hands on the bar. Her lovely full tits looking as if they wanted to burst out. I started to tell her all about the tiny little fairy. I had missed dinner sadly but I did get some bread and cheese which would hold me over till breakfast. It felt so good to sleep on my nice warm bed again. Come morning Arwen had taken off without me on Torvalds old nag. As excited as she was last night I was surprised she hadn't left before then. I ate and made my way over to the tailors and took Terra with me.
“Knock knock.” I said as we went inside.
“Hey. You two.” Heidi smiled as we entered.
“Hey. Got more silk for your old lady.” I said not realizing how true that was till after I had said it given that Gwen had to be at least thirty something but looked to be in her late teens.
“Damn. She is going to love you. Thank you.
“Sure. While I am here I need some new boots.”
“Easily done. We can take it out of what we owe you. If you don't mind waiting a day I can even sew your sheath I made you into the boot. Does the young lady need anything?”
“I want to buy a new dress. One that fits me.” Terra said as she smiled.
“We can do that. You are the second goblin to come in here today.”
“Really?” Terra smiled.
“A friend of ours who shops here often brought a goblin girl they found. Their in the fitting room with Gwen but she should be done shortly.” Small world it seemed. I guess it figured they come here to get the goblin something she could wear.
““It's okay. He can come in.”
“That you Lily?” I said but already knew it was her. I walked in to see her wearing a dress as sheer as the one the fairy had worn. “I needed a mans opinion anyways. What do you think? You think Aaron will like it?” Like it. Fuck who wouldn't. If she wasn't married I would fuck her. Lovely firm tits. Pert hard nipples. Sweet tone ass and a pussy only sparsely covered with blonde pubic hair. Damn it. I had been to busy looking at her dress to think about the fact that she had just heard everything I was thinking
“Thank you dear.”
“I will be out here.” I pointed and shook my head and made a quick exit. Terra stayed in the room and started talking to the hob goblin girl. I let her be as I left before I thought of anything else.
“Sorry about her.” Gwen said as she came out after me with a wax tablet.
“I am getting used to it. All of the dresses aren't that sheer are they?”
“Oh heavens no. That gown is meant more for night time. Breathes well in the heat of spring and summer and most husbands love it which is why it sells so well.” Gwen smiled
“I wonder why?” I shook my head. It was a good thing the silk was so strong because I would want to tear it off of her.
“He brought you more silk love.” Heidi said holding up the bags.
“Wow. Thank you.” She said and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “I just sold the last of my finished product to Lillian.”
“I found a new spot as well.”
“Really?” She said and walked around grabbing her map and unrolled it.
“Yes. There is a stream here that runs up the mountain to a large lake near the peek. Not easy to get to, which is why the faeries probably choose it but I filled two bags worth. And I have been here and here.”
“That is where I got the most of it last year. I wouldn't worry about the others in less your in the area. There wasn't enough to really make it worth you're while.”
“I'll keep an eye out still when I am hunting.” I shrugged. “Got to do my part to keep the husbands of the city happy.
“Thank you.” She smiled
“Well thank you Gwendolyn as always. I am sure my husband will love it more then I will.” Lily said as she came out. I saw Terra and the taller hobgoblin talking away in goblin. No clue what they were even saying but they seemed to enjoy it.”
“We named her Sylvia since we found her in the woods. It was better then the goblin name they had given her.” Lily smiled at me.
“Which was?” Heidi asked.
“Roughly translated bastard seed since she isn't a full blooded goblin.” Lily shook her head.
“We will come back by the day after tomorrow to pick up the dresses for her. Maybe stop by the tavern so she can see her new friend.”
“Glad to see you again dear and thanks again for yesterday.” Lily said and gave me a light peck on the lips.
“Come on Sylvia.” Heidi said and held out her hand. Terra and her said their goodbyes Sylvia stopped long enough to hug me before she left.
“Hard to believe she was a priestess.” Heidi laughed once lily was out the door.
“Really?” I replied.
“Yes. Before she meet her husband. Elvin priestesses have a strong connection with nature and are a little more... How should I say it. Free spirited when it comes to nudity.” Lily said.
“Another words their nudist.” Heidi laughed then looked at Terra. “The little one needs a new dress as well.”
“I have money.” Terra held up her coin purse.
“Well lets see what we have.” Gwen said and led Terra toward the back.
“Lets get you foot measured.” Heidi smiled and grabbed the measuring tape. I sat down on a chair and she got down on her knees giving me a great view of her tits down her blouse.
I took Terra home and headed out to the docks. I didn't see the ship but the shipping company was easy to find.
“I am here to pick up a package. The ship is called the windrunner.” I smiled as I walked up the counter where a dark elf man sat..
“Not another one.” The dark elf clerk shook his head.
“Problem?”
“The windrunner got attacked by pirates.” He sighed. I must not have been the first person who had acquired about the vessel.
“So what can I do about the cargo that my employer has already paid for?”
“If you leave us the information we will be glad to offer a partial refund on any cargo that was lost.” He sat back rubbing the back of his head.
“Only a partial?”
“Standard operating procedure. We can not offer full refunds on any cargo unless it was insured through one of the banking guilds. Do you have the writ of sell on you?” He shook his head.
“Here.” I pulled it out and handed over. He looked it over.
“Oh fuck.” He said and dropped the paper on the desk.
“I am so sorry. I did not realize who your employer was.” He shook his head and called someone who looked to be his superior over and they talked. The older man came over.
“Please tell the lady that we will gladly repay her double the delivery fee immediately and have all the items she asked us to acquire to be delivered on the next ship as well as send out a request to any other nearby shipping companies trade houses to see if we cannot expedite the delivery at our expense. This will take time of course so we humbly ask for her patience in this matter.”
“I will tell her.” I nodded. The clerk came back and handed me the coin. Hopefully it wasn't nothing major she needed right away.
“Thank you.” I nodded. I saw all the dark elf dock workers looking at me as they spoke in hushed whispers.
“So did you get it.” Belladonna asked as I came into the shop.
“The ship got attacked by pirates. They gave you back double the gold you paid and said they will try to find the stuff you asked for through other cities or shipped out on the next ship leaving for here.” I held out the bag.
“Fuck.” She cursed.
“That bad?”
“Most of it's not important but we needed one specific item on that ship.” She shook her head and put her hand to her forehead as if thinking.
“I take it is rare?”
“Very.” She nodded “And it doesn't grow around here.”
“Any where else you might be able to find it. Another alchemist.
“Thieves landing maybe but it's a long shot at best. There is a small community of trow living their but they would poison it if they knew it was for me.” Belladonna shook her head.
“That bad?”
“I lived there for almost fifty years. Then I feel in love and married an elf. Haven't been back in thirty years.” She said. So she was eighty years old or older but didn't look a day over forty.
“Can I ask. The guy at the trading company. He freaked when he found out it was you.”
“We have a past. I had a package delivered through a third party once but they found out it was me and the shipment vanished. The second time I shipped some **** back home which you can imagine never arrived because they drank it all in spite. They spent the next few days in the shitter from what I put in it. They sent someone all the way out here to beg me for the cure. Needless to say they haven't crossed me since.” She gave a small laugh.
“That would do it though now I am never drinking anything you give me.”
“Probably for the best.” She replied.
“I will go to Thieves Landing and ask around.”
“That isn't a good idea.” She shook her head.
“How important is it to you?”
“Selena could suffer greatly.” Belladonna replied. “Then you will need this. It's best if you don't know what it is.” She said as she walked around the desk and pulled out a quill, ink jar and paper.
“Is it illegal?” Not that it would stop me if it was.
“No but any elf who knew what you are looking for might attack you if they knew.” She shook her head but didn't glance up as she wrote the note.
“How long do I have?”
“Five days. You have until the full moon. I have some but if Selena doesn't get this medicine it... Truthfully I don't know what will happen but it terrifies me. Not knowing. She is a creature of both light and darkness. A child of two gods who hate one another so much they tore our people asunder so what is one life to them.” Belladonna replied and blew on the paper to dry the ink then folded it and handed it to me along with the coin purse I had given her.
“I better be off. If you could send word to the city that I will be gone for awhile.”
“Of course. And thank you for this. What ever you do. Do not trust my people. Not completely.” She shook her head. I nodded and went riding heading south. I stopped at a tavern long enough to get some food in me and a little sleep but was up before sun rise and back on the road riding through the second night. It was normally a three day ride but I made it in two stopping only to let the horse rest and drink some water. Thieves landing seemed to fit the name. A small port town dedicated to primarily fishing it seemed as dozens of small boats sat along the shore. I rented a room since it was getting late and to get my horse some water and food while I went looking. It didn't take me long to find the trow side of town though from the looks I got I was sure as hell not welcome. I found a shop written in trow and entered to find a man behind a counter. I glanced behind him as I saw a woman sitting with her back to me but she was topless. I could only see the side of her tit however. Another woman was healing scratch marks along her back.
“Your an alchemist?” I looked at the man.
“Yes.” He nodded.
“I am looking for something.” I said and handed him the note.
“We don't have that here human.” He handed me the paper.
“It's not for me. It's for one of your kind.”
“I am sure it is but we don't have any.” He shook his head.
“Someones life depends on it. I have coin.”
“I can not make something appear out of air. All I have of it has already been sold. This close to the full moon you be lucky to find anyone who does.” He folded his arms.
“Fuck. Anyone else who might know.”
“You can try the tavern and look for a smuggler but I doubt you will have better luck.” He pointed in the direction. More to get rid of me then to kindly point the way. I left outside were I saw two dark elves waiting. As I walked by I could here them following me. I turned and drew my bow and arrow.
“Easy fellows. I don't want no trouble.” I held the string tight ready to loose the arrow the second one made a move
“Seems you are on the wrong side of town then human.” Another said from the other direction. Four against one it seemed and I was surrounded..
“I wouldn't do that if I was you.” A voice said. I recognized her the second I saw her step out of the shadows.
“Raven. You defending this pale skin.” One of the trow said.
“No I am saving your sorry asses. I have seen this one shoot. He will down at least two of your guys before you killed him and he knows some magic. I suggest you take my advice and walk away but I am happy to watch and see how this plays out but I would put my money on the pale skin.” Raven smiled slyly and leaned against a nearby wall and folded her arms.
“Lets go.” One said and I lowered my bow and let them pass me.
“Thanks.” I looked at Raven.
“You got balls coming here. Come have a drink with me, lets talk.” She shrugged and walked by me.
“I really don't have time...”
“I have what you are looking for. Buy me a drink at the tavern and then we can talk or you can try your luck with the smugglers.” She mused. I noticed the scratch marks on the back of her jacket. She had been the one who was getting patched up at the alchemist place. No clue what Had gotten a hold of her but it was big.
