Neither would I
Don't let them change ya, oh
Ella was thoroughly confused by the situation she found herself in. She sat awkwardly on the couch, being waited on hand and foot.
Well… almost?
The fact of the matter was that she ended up being more of a bystander to the person who was actually being waited on hand and foot.
“Would you like some mineral water, Daddy? Or perhaps a backrub?” Sylvia offered generously.
“I can give you all kind of service if you would prefer, master,” Rose breathed, batting her eyelashes coquettishly at him.
The two blondes were very intent on serving Nick to the best of their ability. Ironically, they were the only ones in the room who had actually copied Ella’s transformation, and thus were the only ones actually obligated to do any cleaning, which they seemed to be willfully flouting.
“We’re supposed to clean!” Mary put her foot down and crossed her arms over her chest with an indignant “HUMPH!” While clearly the most out of place of the women here, she nevertheless was the most motivated to do her duty, and make sure everybody was actually fulfilling the responsibility that they’d agreed to.
“Whatever do you mean?” Rose asked innocently, tilting her body towards the irritated housewife in a way that just so happened to push her breasts closer to Nick’s face while she spoke with her. “I’m offering master to avail himself of the amenities, like any good housekeeper should do. Wouldn’t you agree, Sylvia?”
“Rose is right, Mary, part of the transformation is making yourself available to Daddy’s whims,” Sylvia pointed out with a charming smile. “It isn’t just about cleaning the Master’s Suite! Like with any good transformation, you’ve got to read between the lines!”
The former host knew that her Daddy and master had no intention of using her in the way Rose was angling for, but she still enjoyed having a good time. If he wanted something a little more chaste on offer, like a massage, she’d be right there for it!
…Even if Sylvia sucked at giving massages, in contrast to Nick, who was very, very good at them. But reciprocity was a thing, right?
Yeah… she was pretty bad at being a maid.
“Nope. Mary is right on the money, you two.”
Then came the stern yet playful admonition of the only person in the harem who actually seemed to be enjoying fulfilling her role to a T. Vivian cleared her throat to get the attention of the girls, and clapped her hands together.
“If your master wishes to make use of you, your presence is enough to open that door,” she pointed out. “Offering yourself up to him is classless, and reeks of base desperation. Allow him the luxury to take advantage as he pleases while doing your other duties.”
Sylvia pouted. “Who put you in charge?” She scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “I was running things long before you ever popped up onto the scene!”
Vivian smirked. “And look how that ended up going for you?” She chuckled. “Rose, what do you think? After all, your goal here is to make some money, right? Won’t that only happen if you actually do the work?”
Rose nodded rapidly. Vivian was absolutely right! Even if her admiration of the other girl was a major motivating factor, the blond couldn’t deny that it was important to do a good job and get the work done!
“Don’t worry, master!” She said, giving him a wink as she fluffed her hair. “I’ll be back to my normal length soon! Just another night or two ought to do it!”
“And don’t forget, you’ll be getting that collar from me tomorrow,” Vivian pointed out with a twinkle in her eye. “That should help quite a bit, right?”
Rose nodded again. Every little bit helped.
Mary sighed, relieved that they were actually going to be working. When she’d agreed to lighten Ella’s load tonight, she hadn’t been expecting to be the one to do all the work while other women threw themselves at her husband! Was she the only woman in the Master’s Suite with a sense of responsibility?!
Nick, temporarily released from the absolute curse of having two gorgeous blondes offering to serve his every need, took the opportunity to direct his attention back to Ella.
“…Sorry, I’m pretty sure this isn’t how you expected the night to go,” he apologized, scratching his head sheepishly. “But on the plus side, this way you don’t have to do any work or anything like that, we can just focus on hanging out together!”
Ella nodded. Her eyes sparkled with excitement at the idea, and she really hoped that what Nick was suggesting would really have a positive impact.
She wasn’t ready for the date to end just yet. But at the same time…
“Oh, master? Did you want me to polish the doorknob?” Rose called over. She was standing at the door, leaning over in an exaggerated 90 degree angle and waving her ass at him, while glancing over her shoulder with a catlike grin.
Nick sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “…If that’s what you want to do, Rose,” he answered blankly.
“Okay! If that’s what you want, I’ll be happy to polish your knob!” She tittered and got to work, not even attempting even a hint of subtlety.
Nick turned to Vivian and scowled. “Somehow it feels like you’re responsible for this,” he accused her. “Getting them to act this way.”
Rose had several days of cleaning the Master’s Suite under her belt at this point, and the only time she’d been so overtly sexual had been that very first night. And frankly, that couldn’t even compare to right now.
And as for Sylvia…
CRASH!
“…Whoops! That was probably expensive… eh, Dakota made it with her magic, so no big loss, right?”
She hadn’t exactly done menial labor before, and it showed.
“Our maids are simply trying their hardest,” Vivian said, clearing her throat. She bowed to Nick, showing a surprising amount of poise. For as unusual as it might seem for a woman of her standing to imitate a butler, she was pretty damn good at it. Octavia must have given her a lot of pointers.
Nick wasn’t impressed though.
“…And why aren’t you helping?” He asked dryly. “You’re here for support too, right?”
“I’m the manager,” Vivian replied automatically. “I’m managing.”
She was managing to irritate him, that was for sure. But again, Vivian and Maid **** One weren’t where Nick should be directing his attention. He turned back to Ella, who only looked awkward and even more uncomfortable than before.
“…Again, sorry.” He felt like no apologies would be enough for the current predicament. But Ella quickly shook her head.
“No, no, it’s fine!” Ella waved her hands frantically. “I’m just glad I don’t have to do any work today, that’s all!”
Yeah, that really meant a lot to her. She’d already changed out of her maid costume and back into her regular clothes, so now she got to see what it was like on the other side, being a regular girl adjusting to a date night with Nick while being waited on hand and foot.
“Would you two like something to eat?” Mary hopped in front of the two of them, her eyes shining. For all her excellence in housework (at least compared to Sylvia, anyway) she really felt passionate about cooking, and more than anything she wanted to get this night over with and get the blonde annoyances and the arrogant butler out of their hair.
Nick looked at Ella, who nodded.
“Um… can you make something light?” She asked, rubbing her belly. “And nothing too easy to stain, either…”
“Oh, are you looking out for those clothes?” Vivian called over, causing Ella to flinch.
“Err… k-kinda…”
“Well, they’re yours, don’t feel like you have to be considerate on my account,” Vivian informed her with a wink. “That’s what gifts are for!”
That certainly eased the burden on Ella quite a bit. But as someone who knew what a chore laundry could be, she would really prefer keeping everything neat and tidy.
“Master, would you like me to fluff your pillows?” Rose called from the bed. “I can do an excellent job of fluffing. Would you like that? For me to show you how good of a fluffer I can be?”
Nick’s eye twitched, and he sighed in exasperation. He loved Rose, but she could really be a handful sometimes. And he wasn’t talking about her boobs.
Thankfully, a lot of her innuendo was going right over Ella’s head. But even if she couldn’t understand the meaning of the words, the context of the conversation was still causing her cheeks to heat up with shame and embarrassment.
Yeah, Nick needed to do something.
With a sigh, he stood up and helped Ella to her feet. “Just put Rose out of your mind,” he urged her. Then he turned to Rose. “And you, cut it out.”
“Cut what out?” Rose asked innocently.
“You know what. Just stop. All this sex stuff is making Ella uncomfortable.”
Rose blinked. She turned to Ella, almost like she was looking at her for the first time.
“Is that right?” She asked, suddenly seeming timid, much to Ella’s surprise.
“Err… a-a little,” the latina admitted, fidgeting with her fingers. “I’m not good with all the sex stuff, especially not… with everybody here…”
“Well, you better start getting used to it!” Sylvia warned. “Because when Daddy lets loose, he can really be a tiger in bed!”
“Sylvia!” Nick exclaimed, turning scarlet himself. “Don’t say stuff like that!”
“What? But it’s true!” Sylvia whined. “Just ask Mary!”
“A tiger, eh? Can’t say I’m surprised,” Vivian sniggered, politely hiding her laughter behind a gloved hand while Mary glared daggers at the former host.
“My… my husband-”
“Master,” Rose sharply corrected her with a glare. “You’re not his wife right now, Mary. You’re just another maid, like the rest of us.” She put her hands on her hips and cocked her chest out, trying to assert her dominance.
Mary just frowned her way before turning back to Ella. “…Fine. My master would never do anything to make a woman he was with uncomfortable!”
“That’s not what the red marks on Gina’s butt say,” Sylvia cheekily replied, having gotten more than her fair share of glances at the result of the punk girl’s many spankings. “In fact, Daddy is very good at making his girls uncomfortable.”
Steam practically blew out of Mary’s ears and Ella looked like she was just about ready to collapse. As bad as cleaning up the Master’s Suite would have been, in some ways it was almost preferable to what she was faced with right now.
Of all people, it was Vivian to the rescue.
“Sylvia, I think that’s enough,” she said, rebuking the other woman with a tone to her voice that was oddly compelling while also deferent. The exact kind of way someone should exert a sense of authority they derived from someone else in the room.
Sylvia nodded, recognizing that she might be pushing a little too hard.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized, hanging her head. “I’m just a little nervous because of tomorrow… and my own date with Daddy.”
Nick winced. That was going to be an important day as well. But he couldn’t think about that right now- after all, he had Ella to attend to, and she was the person most deserving of his attention since this was meant to be her night.
He escorted her over to the dining room table, a signal to Mary that she should be getting the food ready. Thankfully, his redhead maid was already heading off to the kitchen, predicting her master’s needs like a good maid and/or wife should do.
Rose stepped aside, ceding to Nick’s wishes as well. As fun as it might be to keep pushing their buttons with her sexual innuendo, she could sense that she’d reached the line, and wasn’t about to cross it any time soon. Besides, she would much rather enjoy herself by watching Ella and Nick interact.
While Rose could be a jealous girl, seeing how tender Nick was with other women really lit a fire in her. She wanted to be the one receiving that affection! And the fact that she wasn’t only made her crush more attractive in her eyes, even if she wanted to tackle Ella to the ground and rip all that attention away from her.
That was the kind of petty shit a woman who wasn’t nearly as secure as her would do.
“Vivian, is there anything else you think I should do to help?” Rose asked, approaching the self-proclaimed head of staff.
Vivian, adoring how easy it was to get Rose to submit to her authority, just smirked.
“I suppose,” she mused, tapping her chin thoughtfully. “But do you really think you could do it?” Part of her ask was out of genuine concern for Rose’s ability to do her job, and the other part was spurred on by the amusing possibility of goading her into doing it. Whether or not Rose would succeed would be quite a delight to discover.
And Rose was very motivated.
“Whatever it is, I’ll prove I can handle it!” She declared, even though stepping aside from her cleaning duties meant leaving the housework in Sylvia’s incapable hands.
But hey, it wasn’t like this was her suite or anything, she wasn’t even staying the night. So Sylvia could do as she liked.
Vivian was happy to hear that, and eager to see what Rose’s reaction would be.
“I think Ella could really use some consideration right now,” she said slyly. “Perhaps you could ask her if there’s anything you could do to make her stay here more comfortable at the moment?”
Rose deflated like a popped balloon. The whole reason she’d entertained this idea in the first place was to improve her position with Nick by helping out Ella, and also to plant the seeds for future seduction.
But actually attending to the other woman’s needs? That… that was for lesser women! …Which in Rose’s eyes meant pretty much every other woman with the exception of Vivian, and even that was a hard maybe.
…Still. She couldn’t allow herself to do a poor job. So she swallowed her pride and used all her acting chops to put on a smile, and flounced over to the dining room table where the conversation was dryer than **** Valley.
“Mistress, is there any way I may be of service?” She asked cheerfully.
Ella stared blankly at her. It took a second to realize that Rose was actually addressing her when she said that.
“Err… what? Mistress?” She stammered in confusion, looking frantically at Nick for some sort of explanation. But he didn’t know what was going on any more than she did. He only knew that this was likely some plan of Rose’s.
He shrugged.
“You seem very tense,” Rose said, sounding genuinely concerned for Ella’s wellbeing. “Perhaps a massage would help you relax?”
She circled around Ella to offer, but the latina quickly shook her head.
“N-no!” She blurted out swiftly. “That… I’m fine! Really!”
Rose could take a hint. Ella clearly didn’t want to be touched, and she respected that, taking a step back and bowing.
“As you wish,” she said, certain that she was the picture of elegance in this moment. “Then perhaps I can get you something to drink? A nice glass of champagne as you await your meal?”
Nick was stunned. Rose was almost acting with class. While he knew that his French lover could behave this way on occasion, this was the first time he’d seen her so committed when other women were present.
He liked this side of Rose. But he couldn’t think that way right now. After all, he was with Ella, and he needed to be very careful in navigating the minefield that was his date tonight.
“Just… just water would be fine,” Ella stammered. She couldn’t even look at the maid, keeping her hollow stare focused on Nick out of fear that if she were to turn her head even slightly and see the other girls hard at work she might just short-circuit in confusion.
Not exactly a goal worth striving for.
“…Sorry if this is awkward,” Nick apologized, giving her a shaky smile. “They mean well, they really do, it’s just…”
Ella shook her head. “It’s fine! Really, it is,” she assured him. even though she still felt discomfort rising in her chest. “I just… I don’t know what to do, you know?”
Nick nodded. He also wasn’t sure how they should approach this situation.
“Well, as long as you’re having a good time, that’s what I really care about,” He said, hoping his words would confirm whether or not Ella was actually enjoying herself.
And to that point, she was still smiling, which was the important thing. Even if it was a shaky smile filled with hesitation.
Ella swallowed and looked him in the eye.
“Nick… was today… fun?” She asked quietly.
That caught him by surprise.
“…I definitely had fun,” he assured her. “And not just because we went to Deep Blue. I really liked spending time with you, Ella, and getting to know you better.”
Ella sighed in relief and relaxed. “That… I’m glad. I just don’t know… it’s like I’ve been on pins and needles ever since we got here.”
She had been suspecting everything would go wrong when she had to get started working. But then she’d been surprised with the revelation that she didn’t have to work at all! Now she frankly didn’t know how to feel.
So the only way she did feel right now was a murkiness welling up inside her.
Ella bit her lip and sighed. “I… I don’t know what I want,” she admitted, shaking her head. “I want to make tonight a good night… but I also had this vision of how it was going to go, and it… wasn’t like that. So now I don’t know what’s in store, and I’m feeling really anxious.”
Nick totally understood where she was coming from! Ella had built up the situation so much, that when she was faced with the reality in front of her it seemed far more troubling and worrisome.
“Sometimes, knowing something is going to go bad can be a comfort, because at least it’s a known quality,” he postulated. “Whereas the unknown can be frightening, because for all you can guess, it might be even worse than your prior assumption.”
Ella’s eyes widened. “Yes!” She nodded emphatically. “That’s totally it! That’s how I’m feeling right now! Wow…”
She was so impressed at how easily Nick seemed to put words to the anxiety in her heart. They may have had different issues in their lives, but he clearly could see her for who she was on the inside, and that meant a lot to her.
It didn’t fix the problem, though.
“So in effect, your concern is based on not knowing what’s coming your way, is that right?”
Nick and Ella both turned to see Vivian standing before them, where she had been waiting patiently to be of service.
But the sly gleam in her eye made Nick question just what kind of service she was intending to provide…
“…What do you mean by that?” He asked warily, glancing nervously in her direction before giving Ella a look he hoped would be reassuring.
She didn’t seem to take it that way. She just audibly gulped.
“What I mean is, perhaps there is something I can do to help you both feel more relaxed and comfortable?” Vivian suggested. “Anxiety can be a major issue, especially when it comes to a first date.”
Nick and Ella shared a look, not sure what to say.
CRASH!
“…Whoops. Sorry!”
The sound of something glass shattering cut off their thoughts. If anxiety really was a problem on a first date, then Sylvia’s presence definitely wasn’t helping matters.
Definitely not
