You definitely felt like you had control. Even though she still had that individuality and the fierceness of a wild girl, you knew that you were slowly getting into her head and steering the relationship. At least, you weren't letting her walk all over you.

With that thought in mind you decided that you were going to play it cool. You had nothing to apologize for in this argument. You went to sleep alone that night. The next morning you found Emily sitting at the dining table and tapping on an iPad. She looked up at you expectantly, however you didn't let her catch your gaze. You got ready for work and left quite soon after.

You got your work done quickly, though thoughts of your girlfriend continued to creep into your mind throughout the day. You needed her to know that you were in control and wanted to know how you could make her feel that way. You eventually came to the conclusion that you had to be more involved in her life, and so once your work was done, you deliberated on your next steps.

Emily was at work, the daycare not far from your house. You've only ever visited her once before and felt like it was time for a second visit. She'd been working there for over a year. It was a small, locally owned daycare for kids aged two to four. You couldn't imagine for there to be more than twenty kids at that place.

You were torn on your decision of whether you should go or not.
