Chapter 11 by hearteynk hearteynk

Oh, who am I kidding, I want these thoughts

Dog Girl For Sale To Good Home

Of course, those would always be fantasies. You were my brother, and we weren't meant to do things like that.

I have something else I need to apologize for. I didn't really do a good job selling myself as a pet. The month where you thought I would try to find a master, I failed to make a single appointment with anyone. I went to the parks, of course, and I took some online petgirl classes. Do you remember me taking those? They were all about teaching me different ways to succeed as a petgirl. Some of the classes I took were about how to sell yourself to be adopted, but there were also classes on what to do and what to say to keep your master as happy as possible with their adoption. These classes were incredibly fun, but all they did was fuel my fantasies about you, helping me do a better job of taking care of you in my daydreams. In fact, I had multiple assignments where I had to write letters to my future master, and I was thinking of you for every single one.

One time, at the park, I almost managed to accomplish something. I was wearing my ears and collar, sitting down on the same bench that I had sat in where someone had nearly figured me out a few weeks ago.

Suddenly, I heard an, "I knew it!" from behind me.

I turned around to see the same dog girl from before, excitedly smiling at me.

"You are a petgirl! I knew you were one! I can always tell when someone wants to be cuddled."

I blushed before mumbling, "Sorry. I didn't know I was a petgirl yet."

"Yet? How old are you?"

"I'm 18, I just had a late start, that's all."

"Wow! That must be a wild situation to be in. You doing good as a petgirl?"

"Yeah, it's been real fun learning about becoming a petgirl. It feels really nice wearing my ears and collar. I'm not very good at being a petgirl yet since I'm so new to it, but someday I might be able to get a master, maybe."

"With how adorably you act? You'll have a master in no time. Are you out here looking for one now? Have you seen anyone you might want to be owned by?"

"Oh, not yet, but I'm hopeful!"

It was really nice getting to talk to another petgirl now that I was one of them. The dog girl looked at me and tentatively bit her bottom lip as she thought.

Eventually, she responded, "Hey, wait here for a moment, I have someone I want you to meet."

"Okay, see you in a bit."

I wasn't sure who she could want me to have met. In retrospect, it was obvious, but at the time I expected to make a second petgirl friend that day.

Eventually she walked up with a man who looked a lot like you, just maybe not the exact same height. I stood up from the bench awkwardly and stuttered out a "hello" before holding out my hand for him to shake.

He laughed before reaching up and rubbing my head, which felt amazing. I really loved head rubs, they were way better than a silly handshake.

"My pet was telling me that there was a nice dog girl she wanted me to meet."

I didn't initially respond because I couldn't stop staring at him. He was so handsome!

At some point I remembered that humans interact with words and stammered out a high-pitched "Oh, yeah. That's me."

This had both of them laughing really hard.

"See, didn't I tell you she was adorable?"

I could feel my face go red from ear to ear. I was so not capable of selling myself! Soon, the other dog girl spoke up for me since it didn't look like I was going to.

"So, just a while ago, she told me that she was at the park looking for her first master, and I thought, 'Hey, my master is pretty great, and she's a perfect match. Plus, it would be nice to have another petgirl in our family.' So I decided to bring you over here to talk to my new friend!"

"Oh, that is a pretty great idea."

He looked over at me and started asking questions about what kind of master I was looking for, and what I wanted out of life. I don't think I did a good job answering his questions, but I did learn a lot about myself. I also learned that he was very close to the type of person I was looking for, someone like you. He went to the same college as us, he just shared none of our classes since he was 2 years ahead of us.

Eventually he asked, "So, what do you think? You seem pretty amazing, and I think my pet here agrees." She nodded her head happily.

"I... You both seem absolutely amazing, it might be good? I'm not sure, this is all so new to me."

"Well, maybe we could meet up somewhere later, see if we work well together?"

"Yeah, I'll think about it..."

He gave me his phone number so we could eventually set up a date, but less than a week later, I texted him that I'm not ready for a master yet. I just wasn't. I really am sorry about that. He seemed so nice, and I would have had a great dog girl family member living with me. But I just couldn't bring myself to be with anyone else. How could anyone match up to you?

I'm not very marketable
