Do something more elaborate.

You remember that zapping one's real body with the brown "pen" on its default setting makes it shed a skinsuit of itself, which can then be zipped up to make a living copy of oneself. You're starting to feel as if Dawn is your real self, but regardless of your feelings it won't work: another zap with the brown pen will make you permanently as you are now, Dawn with a loser-guy Josh filling, with a Josh suit inside her that she'll need to pull out from her butt hole or vagina. The combination is tempting but you're not sure you want your self melded with Dawn's permanently.

Instead you strip and try to take off the Dawn suit that's made you Dawn. You try to concentrate on imagining your Dawn skin coming off. After five minutes you give up and check the instruction sheet for an odd setting of the black pen that produces a zap to open up a stuck skin. You double-check the setting and then zap yourself right in your Dawn face.

It works, but you feel as if the real you has just died, as big a phony as Dawn was. It's another few minutes before you can remove the Dawn suit completely. After that it's no big deal to zap your Josh body a few times so that you have three empty Josh skins. An obscure setting of the brown pen zaps an empty people suit into what looks like a micro-SD card and back, so that storing extra Josh suits is easy.

You seal up a Josh suit and watch it become your clone. He has all your memories up to the moment you zapped your Josh body to create the suit. With almost a hunger he gets into the Dawn suit, and then you get into the Charlotte suit.

"Should we make a Josh from one of these suits?" you ask the new Dawn, once you're physically Charlotte.

"Dunno," she says, more Dawn than Josh though neither of you has had her zap with the brown pen yet. "Would you wish being Josh on anyone?"
