Well, what'll it be?
Do some general fitness stuff!
{if@ Speed<=5}Speed is very useful! It's nice to be able to take hits, but it's even better to not get hit at all. Plus, most of the speed training you do is good for you endurance too. So you get to have both.
You stand in a corner of the Gym, swinging your arms back and forth while you wait for a good song to come on. To the sound of impeccable workout music, you take up a runner's crouch, and you're off, sprinting as fast as you can in laps around the Gym! Well, jogging moderately. There's a lot of equipment that you don't want to bump into. Why's that even here? Still, you're not doing too bad, all things considered. You're a little out of breath after your first lap (but you did it in good time!), and about to take a break.... but then you see it. A few metres in front of you -- Newton! His hand's held up, awaiting a high-five. You can't let him down!
Gathering what little energy you have left and pushing it all down and into your legs, you give it all you have to give one final sprint -- and you make it! Slapping your hand against his, and having a little jump of celebration.
"Nice work, friend!" Newton smiles down at you. "Take 5, then give me two more! You don't need to do it fast, just do it!"
Your face drops into a scowl. That was a trapped high five. This is unbelievable. All the same, his missing shirt serves as a constant reminder that he knows what he's talking about, so you take a quick break (and wait for another boppin' song), and then go at it for two more! You end up speedwalking halfway through the first one. But you complete them both, and you get your two high-fives -- then one more for free, because you did such a good job!
You're tired as heck, but you're feeling pretty good about the work you managed to get done. Persistence is key, and you're well on your way to getting fit n' buff!
{elseif Speed<=9}Alright, time to work on your speed and endurance again. Newton definitely helped last time, but also your legs hurt for a while. It's good to stick to goals you set, but you shouldn't be pushing yourself, and only you can know when you're doing that. So this time you're gonna do it on your own!
You find a nice little space in front of that wall of mirrors. Hmmm.... what should you try now? Bad dancing seemed to work pretty well for Newton, but you don't want to look silly. Star jumps? Yeah, star jumps are good!
You're not sure how many to do, so you decide you'll just go until you feel tired. But this time, you're gonna stretch first. Taking off your blazer and tie, and putting them in a neat pile to the side, you untuck your shirt. Let's begin!
As you stretch for a few minutes in front of the mirror -- hey, this feels nice, you should do this more often, a small crowd gathers around you. I-it's a bit weird feeling, as you look at their reflections in the mirror wall -- none of them are doing any workouts, they're just watching you as you stretch. Oh! Does that mean you're doing a good job? Yeah! They probably want you to help teach them stuff. Well, that does it then, it's time to begin!
The good thing about star jumps is that it's hard to get the form wrong. Plus, it's good for all sorts of muscles in your body, easy, safe, and doesn't take too much energy! So you feel pretty confident as you start, even though it's a little harder with how- erm, topheavy you are. Two little mountains are bouncing in time with you. It's a little uncomfortable (you probably should've invested in a sports bra), but still, you're getting most of the exercise benefits you think -- and you must be doing a good job, because you little crowd of four people are all watching even more intently now as you work up a sweat. You blush a little bit at the attention. You really are getting better at exercise stuff!
Eventually you get tired{if Strength <8} -- your arms before your legs, surprisingly enough{endif}. You puff out breaths and plop yourself down on the ground in front of the mirror wall, looking at yourself. You grin at yourself. This is fun!
You're feeling pretty hot, so you pop open the top button of your shirt, exposing the top of your heaving breasts (and the sweat droplets which adorn them) to the cool air. Ahhhh.... hey, the exercise is done now, why are your spectators still hanging around?
Anyway, eventually you pick up the rest of your clothes after catching your breath, and head back out to the courtyard. A little spurred on by two of the spectators starting to rub their hands across the front of their pants. But you're still feeling good!
{elseif Speed<=13}Alright, what to do this time? It's always fun coming in here and deciding what you should try. Hmmmm....
There's a second year girl doing some weird exercises across the room from you, facing that wall of mirrors. She's propped up on her elbows, with her back facing the ground and her feet flat on the floor, and it looks like she's doing some sort of spinal workout. Should you ask her to let you join in? Yeah, why not?
"Hello!" You approach her. "I'm Debbie. Whatcha doing?"
"I'm Kara." She says between upward thrusts of her hips. "I'm doing fucking exercises."
She didn't have to swear, but you guess if she's a second year then it's alright for her. And it still looks like it'd feel nice, like a little massage along your back, as well as making you more flexible. You decide to get down on your elbows beside her, resting your bum and feet on the ground beneath you, and looking over at her to try to replicate what she's doing.
Ohh, okay! So it's a kind of humping motion for a few reps, and then an up-and-down bouncing motion for a little bit, and then back to the humping. She looks over to you as you try to follow along, but she doesn't say anything and no part of you starts to hurt, so you must be doing it right already. You're a natural at this stuff!
After a few minutes more of following Kara's example, you're starting to slow down. Your form is great, but you still get tired, and you're feeling a burn a bit. Still propped up on your elbows, you fall back to rest on the ground with your legs out flat. Phew... your spine feels so limber though! Your- drat, you should've thought of this earlier, your lumbar feels limber.
"Hey, are you done?"
"huff, Yeah, huff." You reply, in between huffs.
"Help me out then." Kara stops her humping motion and pats at her lap. Well, if your exercise is done, then you suppose you may as well while you're still resting....
You crawl over to her lap and position yourself on top of it. Once you're properly seated and comfortable, she starts up the humping action again. Your face is all red from the exercise still, but it gets even redder when you see yourself in the mirror. I-it sort of looks like she's.... oh, wow, is that what she actually meant by fucking exercises?
Eep! Your energy suddenly returns to your legs when you feel something start to press into you from beneath, and you stand up immediately. You turn to Kara with a confused, flushed face. She gives you a grin and a wink, waggles her fingers, then carries on about thrusting up into the empty air. Erm.... w-well, anyway, you're feeling much more energetic now, and your muscles are all worked up. So.... t-that's it!
{elseif Speed<=17}Okay, you're back and ready to get fitter than ever!
This time, as you're walking around and looking over the place trying to decide what you should try out this time, Newton stops what he's doing and comes over to you.
"Hey friend!" The shirtless hunk of muscle claps a ginormous hand onto your shoulder. "It's been a while since I checked in with your progress, but I've seen you around the Gym putting in a lot of work -- why don't you show me what you've got?"
Yeah, alright! You jog a lap around the whole Gym again, but this time you do it a lot faster that before! When you finish the circuit with a powerful high-five to Newton, you're breathing a bit harder, but you're not even feeling tired. You could totally go again!
Newton whistles, sounding impressed, as he mimes waving his hand in the air after your powerful high-five. "Debbie, that's great! You're such a goer, I love to see that!" You beam up at the muscular friend. "Hey, Debbie? How about we work out together again?"
You nod your head rapidly as your smile spreads further across your face, and with that the two of you jog off around the Gym together. Newton makes sure that you keep up with him and showers you with constant compliments and encouragement, and at certain intervals the two of you stop jogging to take part in a certain activity. Dropping to the floor to do sit-ups, Newton holding you upside down by your ankles to do hanging ab-crunches, so on!
After several minutes of this, even though you've impressed yourself with how long you've been able to keep this up, you're starting to slow down a lot and feel tired.
"H-hey wait, Newton...." You start to pant out, coming to a stop in the middle of your jog.
Newton turns to you, and suddenly cries out and grabs at his leg. Is he alright??
"Aahhh! Sorry, Debbie, I know you could go all day, but it looks like I've injured my body! I'm going to have to call it here. Because of what happened to my body. But Debbie, you've shown such great progress, and I'm so proud of you! It's just that we have to stop now because of my body, which I hurt, you see."
Newton is not a good actor, but at least he is a kind actor. Still, you decide to play along and help him hobble over to a bench to sit on. He weighs way too much for you to carry, but luckily he seems to travel pretty easily right now.
"Oh, Debbie, I'm not sure how I can go on! With my body, hurt like this! I'll have to figure it out somehow, how I can live like this now from here on." He's overselling it a bit now.
"Would a chocolate milkshake make it better, Newton?" You ask.
He considers it. After a long pause, he shrugs and half-mumbles out ".....Worth a try.".
You jog off to you both a chocolate milkshake, which he happily slurps on after you return to him. You have a feeling he'll be all better in a few more minutes. But hey, you! Not only are you feeling all virtuous right now, and enjoying a tasty post-workout chocolate milkshake, but you're also absolutely feeling the muscle burn and growth. Newton was right about one thing -- you're making so much progress right now!
{elseif Speed <=21}"Debbie." A voice says, right behind your ear. Ah! You were just about to start doing some fitness exercises, and you're quite taken off-guard.
You spin around in a panic, but relax a bit when you see that it's just Kara, that second year girl who you worked out with one time. Then you relax a little bit less when you remember how she tried to make it dirty at the end! You pout, and cross your arms, glaring at her. Funnily enough, she was already doing the exact same thing to you.
"Have fun doing laps of the Gym?" Kara asks through her sulky face.
Does she mean when you did it with Newton? Yeah, that was pretty fun! And it was really beneficial, too. Felt the burn and everything. But what does she mean?
"I can't believe you'd work out fitness with him instead of me!" She says, uncrossing her arms and stomping her foot. "I was waiting all day for you!"
Wait, what? You take a half-step back. What's she talking about? You're thinking of the right person, aren't you?
"I only worked out with you once!" You say back, pointing your finger accusingly. "And you humped me!"
"Who ever heard of only working out with somebody once?" Kara asks, incredulous. "That's not Gym etiquette! You were the one who sat down and joined me, remember!"
You're about to object, but then stop. Is that true? You've never heard of anything like that. But then, you also wouldn't know either way, so maybe it's true. You don't want to make a fool of yourself and show everyone that you don't know Gym etiquette.....
"B-but...." You stammer, trying to think of a reason to counter what she's saying. "I- I worked out with Newton first! Before you, as well!"
Kara huffs, and shakes her head.
"Are you gonna join me for some ab crunches, or are you going to keep making a fool of yourself?"
Oh no, all of your fears are real! You dip your head sadly, and with another huff, Kara takes you by the wrist and leads you over to some yoga mats to do ab crunches on. She doesn't do anything dirty this time, and you get a pretty good workout, but.... does it really mean you can't work out with anyone else ever again? You don't want it to be her....

At least you know how to do an ab crunch, now. With the help of somebody holding your feet down, at least.

Kara is eventually dealt with (with the help of Newton!)
-maybe you deal with her on your own after a certain Speed threshold, then switch over to a new +fitness set of chapters
-but you can also ask Newton to help deal with her sooner if Speed >17, and switch early
