Maple stares up at the the predator, she can still feel the gun in her hand as it towers over her, "I... Have an additional condition," Maple says and the voice speaks.

"I guarantee nothing, but I will hear it," it says.

"I want you to release Del at least temporarily, so I can speak to him," Maple says and there's no response for a few moments.

"I am afraid I can't-" the voice starts, but is cut off as Maple suddenly lifts the gun and blasts the predator in the face. It collapses and unfortunately the cure in it's hands vanishes, a projection not an actual item. The other predators become aggressive and Maple scurries to her feet and runs.

The predators give chase as the voice screams, "you are making a mistake!"

The predators are faster than Maple, but luckily she already knew that and just as one is about to reach her, something drops from her landing behind her. The predator hesitates distracted by the fallen object, however it's not distracted for long when the object, a purposely dropped EMP grenade goes off taking out the closest predator and stunning the other two long enough for Maple to slip out of view.

She's hidden herself in one of the buildings, her gun held ready as the predators slowly recover and begin searching for her. Her workshop is close by, but heading there now would be obvious. Indeed immediately one of them goes to check her workshop.

The other begins searching around and she tries her best to watch it without revealing herself, when it gets close enough she exits and blasts it, catching it by surprise. She's relieved not all the cameras here were repaired after their fight with Gigas, otherwise hiding would have been much more difficult. She stalks towards the workshop, her tail swishing back and forth, she wouldn't admit it, but part of her is enjoying this. Stalking her prey, hiding and fighting, it speaks to her instincts. She waits outside for the one in her workshop, the cameras can see her, it knows she's outside. More will be coming, she can't throw an EMP inside as that would damage the machinery she needs.

If she waits too long reinforcements will come and she'll be in trouble, if she just rushes in she'll have to fight it one on one in a fair fight at relatively close quarters which she doesn't like her odds in. There has to be some way for her to get it to come out.

Meanwhile Yulia has become deathly still, the coughing has stopped and so has the shaking, she's just lying there. Lri fearfully checks her and finds she still has a pulse, but it's weak. Lri desperately glances at the healing kits, she knows they'll likely need one for the conversion, but she's worried if this advances much further it could be very bad.
