Directly into a forest

One odd thing I noticed as I slimed(oozed?) into the forest was that I was definitely not on earth in the slightest.(obviously dumbass)

I was also not a small slime. I picked human size and everything seemed to be the same proportions around me.

The sun and multiple moons(or planets) made plants grow in a rainbow of colors. The light falling though the blue leaves was… beautiful. As I traversed through the mossy forest I felt myself grow cold. Wasn’t I supposed to be immune to status effects? Getting cold is a status effect! Not to mention I was freezing earlier! That is extremely odd.

Perhaps I messed up… Maybe the gods+angels took some of my powers away? I tried to recall the full list. Demon kings heart, god’s eye, lightning infusion, human sized, slime. I remembered the rest but listing them here would only take up pointless time.

My powers all sat in me. So why couldn’t I see my stats? I was interrupted by the sounds of something running through the forest. I heard laughing.

Children laughing, oh shit. There was probably a village of some kind. With my accepted by humans trait I should be able to exist near them without dying. They could also answer my questions.

Maybe I go to the village? I couldn’t hurt to scout it out. I began recon over the next few hours, sneaking about trying to find the village. Then I gave up and I followed the children laughing but that just led me to a clearing. I tried using god’s eye on a small boy with cat ears and for the first time got a pop up.

Currently thinking of how he could convince his mom to let him hang out with Ethel more. She’s got an incredible rock collection(how do you even find a red and blue rock). Also subconsciously wants to try mouse meat(although he doesn’t yet know what a mouse really is)

That’s too much info to be honest. Though, extremely useful. Also if this boy has stats then why can’t I see mine? Ugh. He also has minor scrying protection and I can still see things so god’s eye is still great.

My slime body then told me it was hungry. Apparently not a status effect. Well this boy changes a few things. He lives somewhere nice enough to not see a lot of mice or rats but is still considered poor and in a village.

It’s likely a large village with a lot of middle class and cheapest luxuries. Just a guess though. Probably a bit dangerous. I’m gonna go find out how I eat while pondering(can I use myself as an orb? Pondering my orb self)
