Dinner with Natalie

Thursday rolled around and Mark was standing out the front of the East Hall, waiting for Natalie to come and meet him out there. They were meeting up for dinner, almost as if it was a kind of date.

Mark tried dressing as nice as he could without going formal, he wondered what Natalie would be wearing and how serious she was going to take this dinner date.

As she walked out the doors, Mark’s heart jumped a little. She looked phenomenal, stepping out of the hall in a beautiful tight pink dress.

“Wow…” he muttered under his breath.

The blonde was sporting a polite smile on her face, clutching tightly onto her black purse. She let Mark initiate a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“You look beautiful,” Mark complimented her, taking her hand in his.

She blushed, “Thank you Mark.”

It had really started to give him first date vibes. There was never any indication that it was a serious date but more of a friendly thing. A friends with benefits type thing to be more specific.

Mark jumped into the car after opening the door up for Natalie to sit inside first. Conversation was low initially, small talk not really cutting it.

“I have to ask,” Natalie asked Mark after a pause in conversation, “Do you know what happened to Winter last night?”

“What do you mean?” he asked, surprised to see why she was asking him that.

“Well… she got home really late the other night and then today, she had Miranda in her room for ages and I mean ages,” she told him to his surprise, “They’re never together either.”

It had him wondering, what if they really did solve their issues. That was something he was really hoping to hear, wanting to be friends with both and for the two to get over their differences. It had been a long time coming.

“Did you hear much of what they said?”

Natalie shook her head, “I let them have their own privacy.

He was a little disappointed to hear that, would have been nice to have a spy in the room. Technically it wasn’t any of his business but being so close to Winter over the last two years, he naturally found himself being concerned.

“So where are we actually going?” Natalie asked him as they began driving off.

There was a pause, Mark hadn’t even thought about where he wanted to take her out. He was meant to ask her but he had gotten in the car forgetting to, more preoccupied with Natalie’s large breasts in that dress.

“Uhhh fuck, I’ve got no idea,” he admitted, “What are you hungry for?”

“I don’t mind,” she responded.

“Well what’s your favourite place to go to?” Mark asked her, “We can try a restaurant in the city, somewhere nice…”

He was worried with her quiet personality that she wouldn’t give him any options at all and Mark would be **** to guess what she may like.

“Tacos, I like Tacos,” she then told him.

Mark nodded as he drove, “Alright cool, so maybe we can go to some really nice Mexican place in the city, sure we can find one.”

“How about Taco Bell, it’s just up on Kenzie Road and it’s cheap, I am trying to save at the minute,” she told him.

“Are you sure?” he asked surprised, “I mean it’s my shout, you don’t have to worry about money.”

“It’s alright, they’re great tacos,” she laughed.

“How about this then,” Mark suggested, “We get takeaway from there and go find somewhere else to eat it. It’s a nice night, maybe it’d be worth going up Clive Mountain and looking out at the city lights from up above while we eat.”

Her cheeks were blushing slightly as she nodded along.
