Dinner at a diner

Before you know it, a week's gone by. You're out having a dinner date with Molly at a monster friendly diner. You spend the evening flirting and enjoying each other's company. "Producer, I want to azk if they have any live music here. I'm very comfortable playing in tavernz and restaurants like thiz in the old world. I miss putting on a show from time to time."

Hm. You never imagined your life as a musician's producer, but here you are. "Molly, you mean so much to me. You've become my whole world. I don't want you to get hurt, either by being disliked, booed, hated, or worse, physically assaulted. But I also want to help support you in your profession."

"That's so sweet my love, but a bard like me can handle a tough crowd. And I think you forgot about my buzzy butt!" Molly says as she wiggles her black and yellow stripey ass towards you.

"You nod, and an older woman approaches your table. "Ah, it's nice to see such a lovely monster girl and her sponsor. My name is Daisy and welcome to my diner."

"So you're the owner?" You ask.

"Sure am, sweetie. My son is a sponsor too, and I'd sure set a bad example if I didn't allow such nice girls into my diner. He first sponsored a lamia before adding both a centaur and then a harpy. Now, would you like to tell me more about yourself, you sweet thing?" Daisy turns and asks Molly. You nod.

"Hello there mizz Daisy, bzzt. My name is Molly and I'm a hard working bee girl from the old world, and this is my sponsor and producer Jack. I used to be a bard there and waz wondering if you'd like to have zome live entertainment here? I play the electric guitar, bzzt!"

"Just Daisy is fine, you beautiful thing. And yes, I've been looking for a band that would be open to play in a monster friendly establishment without much luck. It never occurred to me to look to you girls, but here we are. Fate must be smiling on me today. So if you can play, yes, you are welcome here. I'm not sure if you can build a band here but I'll at least pay you a portion of the cover charge when you play. The bigger the crowd, the more business I have, the more money you make. It's a win win." Daisy says.

"Now there's a stage up there with most everything, but I don't have an electric guitar or I'd ask you for an audition. Would you fine folks mind coming back tomorrow evening at 6pm and playing for us? I won't be able to pay much tomorrow but you can have a free dinner and drinks, on the house."

"That sounds fantastic, Daisy. Thank you for opening up your establishment to us."
