Didi's Totally Not Fanfiction 4

Ryan was sitting at the Turner's dining room table. He was wearing some of Mr. Turner's old clothes which were a little too big for him, but much better than the rags he had been wearing.

They were eating dinner. It was...well, not good at all. Scarlett had made it apparently. Ryan made a mental note to offer to cook dinner tomorrow, the only reason he could stomach this was his state of **** hunger. That and the **** awkwardness that had followed Scarlett seeing him naked in the bathroom, as a man.

He didn't understand it, but the moment he had stepped into the shower and let the warm water wash over him he'd turned back to normal. After the shock of getting seen by Scarlett he'd managed to bring a kettle of hot water outside and poured it on his dad, fixing him too.

It was good actually that the Turner's had all witnessed it. It would have been pretty difficult to convince them of the truth otherwise. Even having seen it it was still hard for them to accept. That's why the 5 of them were sitting around in silence.

Until Simon broke it, "Well...with that odd business aside, Ryan, I am so glad to have you staying with us."

Ryan blushed, "Ya...me too. Thanks for the warm welcome."

"Now girls, Gavin and I have discussed and we think one of you should marry Ryan. We decided you can decide which of you it will be, but I want one of you to marry him so the two of you can inherit the legacy of our anything goes hockey school."

Scarlett slammed the table as she stood up, "What? No way. I'm not marrying him!"

Ryan was too shocked to have the same reaction. He looked at his dad who just grinned. Why was he trying to arrange a marriage for him in this day and age?

The older sister casually held out her hand, "How much will you pay me to marry him?"

Simon shook his head, "Your girls aren't like your sister Katherine. She could cook, clean, sew. She's kind and warm and and it's no wonder she married and left! Ryan's a sure thing, you should just marry him!"

"10 million, final offer." Natalie said confidently, "Otherwise Scarlett will marry him. She's closer in age anyway."

"Ok, it's decided them. Ryan and Scarlett are engaged. Welcome home son!" Simon said, slapping him on the back.

"This is a good thing for both of you," Gavin added, "Just give it time."

Scarlett huffed, "I'm not marrying that pervert!" Then she stormed off to her room.

His dad poked him in the ribs, "She's pretty cute huh?"

Ryan nodded, "Yeah. She is." He couldn't really blame her cold reception, or her reaction to their Father's meddling, so he'd have to wait to see if he actually liked her, but she was pretty cute. He sighed and picked up his fork, he'd deal with this when he wasn't on the verge of starvation.

Vivi walked into the living room just in time to see Didi throw the remote at the tv, smashing it. "Uh?" Vivi snapped her fingers and fixed it, "How about we don't do that again?"

Didi sighed, "I'm sorry. Ryan said Scarlett was cute."

"And that's a bad thing?"

"He's supposed to say she's not cute!" Didi turned the tv back on, "Look!"

Vivi looked at the screen, "Uh. She looks cute to me."

"Duh. But he's supposed to repress his feelings! Also, this whole thing is exhausting. I spent so long setting things up and then I had to expend to much energy getting these bozos to swim across the ocean. I stole there car, caused a few landslides. I even had to stop that idiot from drowning! The real Ranma swam from China to Japan, this chump couldn't even do a few miles without getting into trouble!" She groaned loudly, "And don't even get my started on the time travel. I've been grooming these kids since before they were born..."

"Don't say grooming." Vivi interjected immediately.

"Huh? What else would you call it. I've been shaping their lives, molding them into the people I want them to be so I can take advantage of them. All since they were babies."

Vivi crossed her arms over her chest, "Listen. That means something else..."

It finally clicked for Didi, "Oh. OOH. No! No way. I don't have that kind of interest in them. They are just characters to me. Besides, I waited until they were 19 to get directly involved."

"Just don't ever say that again, ok?"

"Fine. At least it wasn't all disappointing. She caught him in the bath without me even doing anything. She even called him a pervert! That was pretty good. I can't wait for classes to start."

Vivi sighed, Didi was losing what little brain power she had, wasn't she? Then a thought occurred to her, "Ok. I said I wouldn't get involved but...show me the show. I'll watch it with you."

"Really! Yeah!" Didi was so excited she failed to see Vivi's wicked smile. With Didi so distracted this was the perfect time to get her ****. She'd just have to play along for a little bit...

Ryan was walking to school, feeling stiff and uncomfortable in his school uniform. What kind of University has a uniform anyway, but he supposed Furinkan University wasn't ordinary by any measure. Despite being a relatively young school it had developed quite a reputation. It was very difficult to get into, but that was partially because they ignored grades all together. Entrance was based solely on interviews. Furinkan wasn't looking for the best and brightest, they were looking for 'unique characters to weave into their story'. Yeah, that's actually the line they used. Still, it worked for them. Furinkan wasn't just known for their odd recruiting method, but also the results of those who graduated. Even if the NHL didn't pan out, Ryan hoped an education here could set him up doing something else.

Walking along beside him was Scarlett, also in her uniform. They walked in silence for now. He didn't sense any animosity from her, but she also seemed to have no desire to get to know him better. It was a relatively short walk to campus, but it still felt awkward for him.

"So..." He said, trying to break the ice, "How long have you lived in Seattle?"

Scarlett turned to him briefly, then looked away, "We really don't have to do this get to know you thing. Nothing against you, but I'm going to ask my Father to kick you and your dad out. It's just not appropriate."

Ouch. Ryan nodded and kept walking in silence. Trying not to think about her, he took in his surroundings. This was really a nice neighborhood. Lots of big, old trees. A nice mix of older homes and modern renovations. Many houses had well established gardens and he could smell the wet earth as he took in the sight of the rain soaked flowers. It had rained hard last night, hard enough to keep him awake. Well, perhaps it was nerves about his first day and not the rain. Whatever the cause, he was a little out of it this morning.

"Watch out." Scarlett said suddenly.

"Huh?" Ryan looked up, just in time to see a wall of water rushing at him. A pickup truck driving just a little too fast had plowed into a puddle on the road, sending water flying at them. Scarlett deftly avoided it, by Ryan...

Ryan blinked and wiped the water from his eyes. He was soaked. Totally soaked. He looked down, wondering if his shirt had gone see-thru...oh no. No no.

"Oh my God! It happened again?" Scarlett said.

His shirt was see thru, but more importantly his blazer no longer fit him. It was too wide, too tall, but also budged out unexpectedly. He was a woman again. "How did this happen?"

Ryan suddenly understood, "The water? I've gotta run home and get a shower!"

He turned to run back but Scarlett caught him arm, "You can't. You'll be late. Didn't you read the introductory email? The orientation is mandatory and skipping will result in disciplinary action! You don't want to start the semester like that, do you?"

"No, but I can't go like this anyway!"

"Yes you can. It'll be fine. There's a shower at the gym there, let's just go!"

Somehow Ryan allowed himself to be dragged off to school. He had a bad feeling about this.
