Diaper Change

Taking him by the hand, Jim's mom took him back to his room.

While some people in town invested in changing tables -- the ones for babies ages 7 and over knee high, the length and width of a sleeping bag -- Jim's family decided that it was better just to use a conventional changing matt. It was the size of a regular blanket, laminated with a plastic sheen for easy cleaning with an illustration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles printed on it.

Jim laid on his back as his mom undid the tapes and opened up his diaper. Jim winced at the wet-wiped chilled his bare skin. The town sold a special skin-cream that discouraged body-hair growth, leaving his entire body baby-soft.

Being a teen, Jim knew how to change himself. He even had basic potty training in the event that they leave town or ran out of diapers. With that said, it was socially frowned-upon in town to do so, and it was much easier to let someone else wipe you. In Jim's household, it used to be a house-rule that Jim wasn't allowed to take off his diaper, and while that rule laxxed in his preteens, they all preferred it this way.
