Diane gives in

“FINE!” Diane yelled. “Fine. I’ll do it. Just… as soon as Carol gets back, she will be responsible for you two. But in the meantime… *sigh* I suppose I might as well take one more on.”

Michelle immediately shifted from her put and flung her arms around Diane. “Thank you so much!”

Diane rolled her eyes and patted Michelle with one arm and embraced Alexa with her other. Alexa smiled as Michelle winked at her. It was a classic move the two of them would play to get what they wanted. It’s what made them best friends.

Michelle would get mad and pouty and Alexa would get sad. It would always end with them getting what they wanted.
