Diamond departs

After only a few days Diamond found a buyer at an online auction. She was acquired by a couple who live on the zetan capital. Newly married, with no ill will in their hearts, genuinely curious about keeping their own pet. They even indicated that they are ready to make concessions in order to make coexistence possible.

Could have been worse, Diamond thought to herself as she looked out of the window. This is the place where their transformation began. And the place where her old life ended.

Will she be happy? Or will she resent her new role? Perhaps these are questions that could be answered by her and no one else.
